Incredible cooling power and truly includes EVERYTHING you need to get started! Review: This Vacoor 14,000 BTU portable air conditioner is worth every single penny. Living through brutal heatwaves, I needed something with serious cooling power that wasn't going to be a nightmare to install. This unit nailed it. I was incredibly impressed by how complete the packaging is. A lot of times you buy these units and find out you have to buy a separate window kit or drain hose, but Vacoor includes absolutely everything to get you started immediately. The box comes packed with the thick exhaust duct hose, the window adapter frame kit, the continuous drain hose, and the remote control. They even include the sealing foam to make sure you get an airtight fit in your window! Performance-wise, it's a beast. It started blowing freezing-cold air within two minutes of turning it on. The controls on top are modern and super intuitive, but having the remote means I don't even have to get out of bed to tweak the temp or change fan speeds. It's also surprisingly quiet for a 14k BTU unit. If you want a hassle-free, powerful AC that works straight out of the box, buy this one. Five stars all day long! ... show more

the unit was a little heavy, but the ease of assembly was crazy good. the cooling is outstanding as well as the dehumidification.
