I rarely write reviews but this product in a total exception. I had a tire on my F150 that had a slow leak and because I recently spent a couple of weeks in the hospital, it eventually went completely flat . The tire had 0 pounds of pressure and the rim was actually sitting on the tire, flat on the ground. I thought that the tire was ruined and needed replacing for sure but enter this little pump. It made short work of pumping the tire back up to required 42 psi like a breeze. The only thing that I had read ahead of time is that you need to operate the pump for about 10 minuets and then turn in off and let it rest for about 10 minuets to cool down before starting it for another 10 minuets until you reach the desired pressure. I love the fact that the pump automatically turns off when it reaches the pressure you program into it and I love LED light too as it's very bright! I can't say enough good about this product. I have only used the pump once, and it worked great. I gave it 4 stars because it has ONLY the cig lighter power plug. If it had an SAE connector about 12" from the plug insert, It would be far more versatile. I could then easily plug it into either a lighter socket in a car or the battery charge connector on my motorcycle. ... show more

    • Not for a motorcycle!
The first thing you need to know is that this device draws 10-12 amps. So if you are going to use it for a motorcycle, you better have a direct to battery connection and you better leave your engine running while you are using it. Don't even think of plugging it into a cigarette lighter port on any motorcycle...you will blow your fuse and then have to take all the covers and crap apart to fix it. I would not even recommend plugging this into the cigarette lighter plug in your car as I am pretty sure that is not rated for 12 amps. If your vehicle has a special port for power then maybe...but you might want to verify the fused link rating for your specific port before you start blowing fuses or melting wires. By the way, nowhere do they tell you it draws 12 amps...you have to do the math to calculate the draw...a little ohms law is a good thing to know. Also, this thing gets insanely hot after just a few seconds. I pressed my finger over the exit port and turned the pump on and immediately it felt like I was getting burned with hot air. Inflating a tire with super hot air is going to give you an inaccurate inflation reading as the air pressure will change when it cools off. So for a motorcycle where the inflation pressure is crucial, this is another issue. Another quality product made in guess where...China! You get what you pay for. ... show more

This is exactly what I was looking for. Compact so it doesn't take up a bunch of room in the trunk. Good variety of nozzles. Looooong power cord that plugs into my cigarette lighter port. Not noisy but does the job perfectly. Get one. You won't regret it.

Small and light, but can only run a limited time before it overheats and must be shut off for a while. Likely cannot inflate 4 tires in one session. If there is much pressure in the tire, compressor will not start while attached to the tire. Must start unit before attaching to tire.

Be careful! Useful product the first four times I used it. Then it died. Amazon did not want to refund the full amount because the return window had been exceeded one month.     • Good Product, Great Value
Came out to a flat tire (275/55R20) on my GMC Sierra (4x4, V8, Super Crew - not a small vehicle or tire). Used this air compressor to get the tire inflated so I could drive to a nearby tire shop. Saved me the hassle of changing the tire. Overall, great value for the money. It is very compact but had no problem inflating (or reaching) my rear tire from 12psi to 35psi. However, it did take ~15minutes to get there. It is also pretty loud and vibrates quite a bit. I'm sure my neighbors were not pleased with this work horse operating at 7am. Despite the noise & vibration, I would highly recommend this unit. It filled a large tire on large vehicle from flat to factory in ~15min and saved me from changing the tire. ... show more
