    • A great upgrade for an older car that doesn't have carplay/reverse camera.
I initially encountered an issue with the unit where it would persistently shut down when the rearview camera was plugged in. After posting a negative review, their customer service was incredibly responsive, immediately shipping me a new unit which does not have the same problem. This device makes a fun and functional upgrade for a car produced before the standardization of CarPlay/AndroidAuto. Once you enter your car, there's no need to take your phone out of your pocket. The unit seamlessly picks up where you left off, resuming the last song you were listening to on Spotify and displaying maps for the streets, even without setting a destination. Although I don't worry about break-ins where I live, I could see that in other cities a thief might recognize this as a resellable item and break a window to retrieve it, as it's not built into the console. But you can remove it from the base to keep it out of sight. My main concern is with the number of cords. The power cord, the reverse camera cord, and an aux cable all hang off the dash. While the unit can transmit via FM (eliminating the need for the aux cable), the sound quality isn't as good. Plus, there's potential for frequency interference as you travel across different regions. Before this product, I used a cheaper device that merely converted Bluetooth signals to aux. It tended to become unreliable every few months, requiring a restart to resolve stuttering and spotty connection issues. Thankfully, this new unit doesn't suffer from those issues. In conclusion, this is a valuable piece of tech to enhance an older car. The customer service associated with this product is among the best I've experienced on Amazon. They are genuinely invested in ensuring customer satisfaction, providing excellent support and information on how to upgrade the firmware. I am quite happy with this purchase. ... show more

Pros: Good high quality 4k camera. Responsive carplay with a bit of millisecond delay. Features are on point as described. Although it may take you sometime to get used to the user interface. Not the friendliest UI but you'll eventually learn it. Cons: 1) The included mount isn't viable especially for cars that does not have a flat dash surface. Also, this mount wouldn't allow you to take out the unit especially when its permanently adhered with the 3M tape onto your car dash. 2) Screen can be improved. It's kind of grayish, looks dull when bright sunny day. 3) Get's hot after a few hours of driving. Plus: Seller sent an adjustable neck suction mount which is the perfect mount for my car. Hopefully they use this mount included in the package as standard instead of the current mount as this is more universal and better for uneven dash surfaces. And, you can easily take the unit out if needed. +1 star for the seller response ... show more

    • Very nice looking unit
First impression, this unit looks great. Quality of the screen and responsiveness blows any double din radio out of the park at a cheaper price, especially with wireless carplay/android auto. Cameras are my favorite feature. They are high quality and both are always recording when powered on. In a future update I would like to see the unit have an equalizer setting for music. Now some drawbacks I have come across. I bought the GPS accessory they offer and have it plugged in and have not noticed any upgrade. I thought it would show my mph on maps but it doesn't. Idk if it helps when I'm in an area with spotty service or not but that accessory may have been a waste of money. I also had issues with the unit powering off on me randomly while driving and ended up swapping the power chord for a higher quality one then they provided. Worked fine for a while then I started to have the power off issues again and on top of that had camera issues. Their customer service team helped me through the issues and were very helpful. I ended up resetting the unit and has been working fine since. They did recommend formatting the SD card preferably once a week to keep it working correctly so I'll see if that fixes the power off and camera issues. But I do think the power off issue is more of a connection issue between the chord and port. Otherwise this has been a great unit for me and they have an amazing customer service team. ... show more

    • Not cold weather friendly
Worked fine until cold weather arrived. It even survived the hot Texas weather of 100plus degrees the whole summer. It stopped working once it got cold and below 20 degrees for a few days. It would turn on and off on its own over and over. Disappointed because its pricy for my budget. I don’t know if its under warranty. Will find out. ... show more

    • Very poor engineering
B locks the view out of the car - so much so I can expect you could get a traffic summons. Slow respon, super low speaker volume - wire for rear view camera is too short. Mount is terrible as well.. Look further

Update* The Seller Reached out inquiring about the problems I was having. The person was friendly and attempted to troubleshoot problems with the unit. In the end a new unit was sent out. After receiving this unit I was excited, installation for the front unit was easy. However it did take a bit of time tucking in the cables and cables for the rear camera. Unfortunately due to the type of textures used on my car's dash the provided adhesive for the mount did not hold. I ended up just using some double-sided tape on the provided mount. I also bought the extendable arm but did not end up using it because of the textured on my dash and having another mount on my windshield. The unit itself was working great until today, it glitched out and now the touch response has been very laggy and delayed. I restarted the unit and unpaired my phone believing it was my phone but still same result. I am pretty annoyed now that i have to undo everything to return it. ... show more
