Love this item. Been searching for over a month for a file/desk organizer at work, and this is perfect. Very easy to assemble and within a few moments it goes from box to completely out together and functional. The top can easily be left off to accommodate a printer or scanner( in my case) I needed something with a flat top with a wide are, so that I could save some desk space and place my scanner on a shelf but also have a place for files Etc.. this was perfect, Nice quality and very functional.

This item came packaged well. When I opened it, I was surprised to find it included the screwdriver needed to assemble. That's a plus. There were two things that made it difficult to assemble. First, the twist ties holding everything together. Seriously, getting those out of the mesh was not easy. However, those twist ties made sure if the packaging had opened in transit none of the parts could have fallen out and gone missing. Ha! Second, the screw holes were not lined up well. However, having put things like this together before, I went to the tried and true way of making it come together. When assembling, get one screw started. Then start the second screw. Go back to the first and tighted another two or three turns. Go to the second screw and tighted two or three turns. Repeat this process, making sure everything stays "in place" as you go. When I did this, it did come together and the tightness of the assembly makes it feel very secure. I like that it has little rubber feet to attach. This keeps the metal from "scratching" furniture and also helps with possible slipping and sliding across the furniture. We will be using it for laptops and I really don't want it to slide off, dumping laptops, when my students try to pull their devices out so I will be securing it to the top of the shelf. However, that is just for my own feelings of security in regards to expensive equipment. The stackers are a good size and will hold a lot of papers. This really is exactly what I wanted.

Great organizer. I love the layout with dividers and shelves… funtional. Going to use this for mail and document separation. I like the mesh because I can see everything. Took about 20 minutes to put together. Everything was provided, including a screwdriver. Great directions for assembly! The dividers snap in the place. There are feet that go on the bottom and snap in place to protect your workspace. Handles are on either side of the organizer for easy carry. NO sharp or rough edges. Not meant for heavy reams of paper or loading it to the max in each space.

This looks like it will work for holding papers and mail, but the quality isn't quite there. The fit of the parts is a bit off - the bottom shelf screw holes lined up with the side pieces but the top shelf screw holes didn't quite line up so I needed to pull on the parts to get them to fit. The two middle shelves are supposed to slide in on "c" shaped rails - the top one does and fits well but the rails for the bottom shelf are "L" shaped - it looks like the were not t correctly formed into the "c" shape - so the shelf is only resting on them and can be moved around easily. So for what it is, it's ok but not a 5-star item.

That's to say this is the most disappointed I've been in a while. The entire document stand is made up of extremely cheap flimsy metals and the welds putting everything together is also very poorly done. The first thing I noticed was how terribly it was packed. Everything was jammed in and because of the way it was packed the black paint was flaking off all over making a mess when I open the package. The second part that was extremely disappointed was the fact that the shelves were bent and also the top document holder section had a bunch of broken welds because of the way it was made in packaged. This is the low quality trash and I think even at $5 it's not worth it.

First and foremost - why should something like this have to be assembled by the consumer? I much prefer things to come already assembled. It's not for saving shipping space. This came in its box inside of a huge box. In other words, the seller could have shipped it assembled in that box! After getting over my initial frustration that it was not assembled, I started putting it together. That was quite the joke. Nothing, absolutely nothing was lined up correctly. I wrestled with it a while, then quit. Later in the day, I tried again and using several hacks, I got it together. Seriously, I think it's stupid that it didn't come assembled! Once I got it together, I realized it's not very sturdy at all. What a disappointment. I won't be able to use it where I planned. I will find a location to put it, for very light things to put in it. There's not a lot of stability. I have several other organizers of this type and this is the most poorly made. I'm not very happy with it at all. So, my recommendation is, if you need a good storage organizer, shop around - there are tons of these on the market.

Good to have. It assembled just fine and is sturdy. Shelf drawers slide in and out just fine. It's a little tall so I put it side by side instead and love it. Now i don't have a huge pile of mail on my kitchen table.
