I have spent tons of money on brushes for my poodle. Also, spent a lot of time combing his hair with no luck. I saw this comb and decided to give it a try. I have never seen my poodleâs hair so healthy and great looking. The groomer even thank me for removing all the mats and tangles on my baby. The comb works well, just have to be patient with the item and the dog. I usually brushed him when he is taking a nap - I gently follow the hair pattern; he loves it. I have a very furry F1bb golden doodle (almost 90% poodle). My kids love him fluffy but he has been getting matted. Iâve tried every tool. So far some have worked a little. Well, this one is THE tool. SO easy, gets the matts right out. Brings up a ton of fur with it which is amazing given my dog is not a shedder. So if you have a dog that sheds I would do this outside! We have a VERY curly doodle and brushing him is nearly impossible. I have spent an embarrassing amount of money on slicker brushes and detangling spray and still struggled getting the brush to do anything more than pull his hair. And I never felt like I getting below the surface of his hair, even with line brushing. I bought this out of desperation and boy howdy am I glad I did! This thing gets all the way down to his roots and gently works through his tight curls. The blades are sharp so it can cut through any tangles and it also helps to pull out loose hair that might be caught up in his curls. For the first time ever I felt that I gave him a successful brushing and his fur was so nice and fluffy when I was done. Make sure you clean any hair that is in the comb from the back of the blades because the top of the blades are very sharp. I was so nervous to use it but my dog literally layed down and slept through most of it. Lol. Not so much as a flinch! If you have a curly doodle get this! Trust me!!

I really like this brush, I like how there is a âsharpnessâ to the comb that it helps remove the matted fur. I use this on my long hairs cat, I would say it might be better for poodle type fur, does not remove all matted areas. But overall happy.

We have a Goldendoodle who plays and rolls on her back . Her hair gets knotted easily because she hates the brush . I found this comb and thought Iâd give it a try . She lets me use this one on her because doesnât seem to pull the hair . It actually thins the undercoat and gets the tangles out . I can now comb her daily and her hair looks so fluffy and soft . My dog (doodle) got matted after surgery and being sick. Once better I was able to use this and remove all matting so my pup didnât have to be shaved by the groomer. Very sharp!! - I remove hair from bottom, not too, as I got a small cut from the blade. Thumb grip is great!

My husky is a long haired wooly. She has like 40 coats. She clumps and lumps and gets horrible knots during long term shedding. This not only gently allowed the knots to be untangled, it removed her entire undercoat without damaging her actual hair coat. It didnât pull and snag so she didnât have a melt down. It is perfect.

Worked while it lasted; however, metal broke off of plastic handle and could not even be superglued into place. Went with a higher end product from Germany with a wood handle that was secured properly.
