I have had these for two years now. They are rock solid, have never come off, and show no signs of any kind of deterioration. Absolutely fantastic and worth the cost. Do yourself a favor and buy some paracord to tie the pins to the clips so they can't get lost.

Using on a pontoon on a lake. I have had the plastic fender holders break too often. I think the price is fine given a lost large fender can cost over $100 to replace.

I have purchased plastic fender clips in the past and they end up snapping in half and almost lost my boat fenders. These aluminum holders are heavy duty and are so easy to reposition, they will last years. I look forward to future product additions!

These are great for pontoons. I use 2 at the stern to hold my fenders and use 2 for hanging them when needed. We have a full canvas on our toon so trying to tie fenders on the railings is not possible when they are up. Problem solved.

I own a 2022 Bennington tritoon with square rails. I really like these fender clips, but I had to perfect the design to make them truly amazing. Fundamentally this is a very good product and I really like the fact that there is an actual retention pin that holds them on the railing. The problem with them, in my opinion, is that the pin is not attached to the clip in any way. My first thought when these arrived was "Well that pin is going to end up in the lake". What was missing was a safety line from the clip to the ring on the pin. To make this an amazing product I drilled and tapped holes in each clip where I attached a prebuilt stainless steel safety line. Now I can't lose the pins and my fenders are very securely held in place. ... show more

    • Fits a 1 1/4 inch rail Yamaha G3 Sun Catcher Pontoon Perfectly
Very sturdy much better than the abs plastic type. Mount on the corners of your boat, run a 3/8 line thru the hole simple overhand knot and your done. IT WILL FIT A 1/2 inch line but it is a tight fit. Most if not all 3/8 inch lines even with the added stitching to keep the line from fraying will easily fit in hole. Simply untie the knot stow the fender and your on the way. You can easily remove the holder and move it around if you are so inclined. You will be pulling a pin out to make the move and you will be over water when you do. There is a small O ring you can hook your little finger in before you pull.
