I have not had opportunity to put in the water but the boat has great features like already wired for electronics and the seats are adjustable from front to back! I can't wait to try her out! Also best price I found with free shipping!

  • MOST stable small boat, ever!
Pattern Name: kayak
This is the second boat of this brand that I have owned. This past summer I gave my 17 year old boat to a guy who needed one. The older boat had a few issues, and I knew he could fix them and let this older boat have a second life. Shortly thereafter, I missed my boat and bought me a new Pelican Bass Raider 10e. I have had the most fun out of my old boat than any other fishing experiences! These boats can go where nothing else can and provide the best days on the water, period! They are stable and you can stand up to fish with no problems. I got a good deal on mine, and Amazon helped me with customer support when needed. ... show more

  • Extremely Stable Boat. Will not Tip.
Pattern Name: kayak
This boat will not tip over if if you stand on any edge of the boat. This is my primary reason for buying it. I previously had a canoe that never tipped over, but came close a couple times, especially when using a trolling motor. Now I do not even think about tipping. This boat is not for paddling. You at least need a Trolling motor or small gas engine. It moves along nicely with a 62 pound thrust Trolling motor. You won't get anywhere fast, but it is built for stability, not speed. I don't fish, but I can see why fisherman seem to like this boat. You can cast or pull in a fish with no concern for tipping as you would in a canoe or kayak. 2 people can extremely lean to one side of the boat. Try that in a canoe if you want to go swimming. One complaint: there is a black plastic trim that covers the bonding that holds the top half of the boat to the bottom half of the boat. They did a bad job installing it. It was overly stretched on one side of the boat and bunched on the other side. Its mostly for looks. It covers the staples that bond top to bottom.. The top looks ok. If you look underneath the plastic is not covering the staples in some spots because of this poor installation.. I considered this a minor flaw and I did not want to return it. One other point: I bought this in Nov 2021 for about $950 as of June 2022 it is $1,999. I know we are having inflation, but over double the price. I would not buy it now, I am glad I bought when I did. ... show more

My husband is so happy with this boat. They go out fishing on the lake and have came back above water every time.

  • The Pelican is incredibly stable
Pattern Name: kayak
It's lightweight enough for me, at 83 years old, to move around without a trailer. I use it to run along the shoreline of Florida lakes. It has ample room for two people and a whole lot of gear.
