I’ve had this product for about three years. I usually use my standard danforth anchor on the bow, and the sand shark on the stern while at a sandbar. It works great. This year the latch that allows the auger to extend quit working/wouldn’t engage so I could not extend the auger as intended. I contacted the company and they were prompt with responses and sent me a new lever. It’s back to functioning as it should. This is a great product to have, and an excellent company to purchase from. Customer SERVICE is AMAZING!!! I have owned two SandShark Supersports for two boating seasons in Michigan on my Mastercraft X30 (23FT). I absolutely love these, the peace of mind knowing the boat is secure in any water is extremely important. Unfortunately, I have had some issues with them. First was the plastic handle breaking for unknown reason, I reached out to customer support and they sent me replacement handles and instructions with quick shipping for FREE. The second issue was the aluminum internal extension bent during my last trip (Extremely heavy waves) and the pin for the handle came off (User error when replacing handles). I was unsuccessful in bending back the extension and was not able to retract the anchor. I reached out to customer support again and they sent a refurbished unit and return label for free! They responded to my requests for support within hours and had the parts shipped the same day. Honestly the anchors and customer support are A+ in my book, I have people every trip inquiring about these anchors and I will always supply a great review! WORTH THE MONEY ... show more

This product is awesome! Bought the sand shark super sport and it performs as stated. Have had winds at a sandbar and it holds well. Other people ask if my anchor has moved and I answer with confidence, no, it can’t! Had a minor issue and the customer service was prompt and quick! They definitely stand behind their product. I was contacted personally by Tony and he took care of me with no issues. I would definitely recommend this product and may be buying another to eliminate my danforth anchor. Much easier to set!!     • Will not extend.
I used this product once abs it worked great. Went to use it yesterday and the pin that allows the unit to extend won’t come out because the lever that pulls it up does not grab the pin. Tried to contact the company and no response. Very disappointed.

Hi Everyone, I saw this anchor during a ride with Florida Ski Rider at Beer Can Island. It’s slick and nicely made. Used it during heavy chop in the ocean in NC and this anchor was not budging. I purchased 2 of these sand shark 2.0 anchors 3 months ago for my 25’ boat , they are so awesome compact design and I use them to hold back of boat at sand bar and never move a bit boat is not able to float around . I had the long stick it polls prior and they are hassle to drive in hard sand and they pulled out and scuffed my boat . forget looking far anything else for sand bar just use regular boat anchor in front and 2- sand shark 2.0 in back of your boat will stay put no worries if your boat is going to float away or hit another boat . I also love the sand shark stretch ropes to hold boat to anchors , they have plenty of stretch to take on other boats waves , I rate sand shark 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ awesome products !!! Stop thinking about it Push the buy now button you won’t regret it , pure quality this is coming from a super picky guy . I also want to add they fit in nice padded bag and won’t damage anything in boat . ... show more

    • Held up in the perfect storm
The media could not be loaded. So I don't usually leave reviews because I simply don't have time but I had to make time for this one. We rode our jet skis out to an island where the water was nice and calm, used the anchors and loved them. Knew it was just what we needed. Then we were going to ride back to our family lakehouse, drop the jet skis off (tying one end of each jet ski to the dock while anchoring the back of the skis with the Sandshark anchors we bought) and head out on a boat ride... Well, when we got them anchored I ran up to the house to let dogs out first, by the time I got back down to dock, I looked to my left and the weather absolutely looked terrible, absolutely scary and I thought, oh s&! T, we're about to see what these anchors are made off.... In the video, it shows how big the waves were and I swear it felt like an hour long dealing with this. Although the anchors came out of the ground only once, they did not break or bend. Of course, I wasn't chancing anything and we decided to be out there with the skis in case one gave way and the skis went flying into the dock. I'm not sure what could have withstood these conditions, but for the most part I was simply impressed and had we not had these in some way, we wouldn't have had a chance at anything holding up to those conditions. I am keeping my sandshark for calm waters, but we are currently pricing jet ski lifts to go on the dock so we never get back in this predicament again that caused a little PTSD for all of us involved Everything is not perfect, but this saved our jet skis. That's just my opinion! Just that day alone, I feel I got my $150 x 2 worth out of these anchors ... show more
