Another reviewer stated that it was too rigid to use. It's more rigid than most liners, but it is bendable. I took my chances. I read where it works best for large ponds, preferable with squared sides. My pond is small and shallow, but I made it work by drawing out the dimensions on the liner and making folds where I wanted it to bend. I made pleats (or dart as you would when sewing) and taped them down with waterproof Gorilla tape to fit the contours of the pond. I saw that it is usually done by a plastic welder and cuts, which I didn't have. If you are creative you can make it work. ... show more

firstly this is more of a heavy plastic. my current liner is firestone rubber, i used this to line a water wheel spillway i made for my pond, it was hard to shape and had to use a heat gun to make it pliable. it turned out well but i would prefer the rubber liner.

Product is plastic, NOT rubber so be careful not to pinch it or it will crack and be useless. Also disappointed the listing says it measures 7' x 10 when actually measured 6'8" x 9'10", just small enough so I couldn't use the 1 pc on my 2 small ponds as planned. Now I need to by another one. If I'd known, I would have returned it but needed to do the job that day. Not sure why accurate descriptions just aren't available anymore. No idea about durability - that takes time and this survey will be long gone. ... show more
