  • I would give this 20 stars if they let me
Color: Brown Style: Pond and Waterfall Kit
Bought this pond for my wife as a birthday gift. It’s a very nice size. Holds 7 gallons of water. We put aquatic plants into it along with mosquito fish and rosey minnows. It runs silently and looks beautiful. The LED light behind the waterfall is a nice touch and lights up the bottom of the bowl really well at night. It was super easy to setup and was running in minutes. Ours is outside and I have noticed a bit of evaporation happening as the late-Spring days get warmer. We live in California where the evening temps are rarely low, but there is ZERO splash out with this pond. You could easily set this up inside your home without fear of having water all over your floor like with many fountains and such. I like to add a gallon of water every few days to keep the water lever fairly high in the bowl. I put dechlorinating drops into the bucket with the tap water. You can buy those drops at any pet store or here on Amazon. We placed ours on a sturdy metal patio table. You need access to an outlet with two plugs for the filter and light plugs. It’s advised to keep the filter on 24/7, but we unplug the light unless we are out on our patio looking at it. ... show more

  • Love it
Color: Brown Style: Pond and Waterfall Kit
So far, so good. Not damaged. Easy setup. The perfect size for my needs. Pump works well, lights are lovely, nice stones. Hope it lasts because I really love it. Looks fantastic even on this rainy, dreary day.

  • Super easy set up; we added fish and plants and keep it in our sunroom.
Color: Brown Style: Pond and Waterfall Kit
This is a great deal and beautiful fountain for our sunroom. We spend a lot of time there when it is too hot or cold to be outside so we are really enjoying it. I bought it for my husband for Father's Day and he really loves it, as do I. We have four fish in the bottom and have placed some water loving plants in the top. We spend a lot of time in our climate controlled sunroom and love the sound and beauty of this fountain. ... show more

  • Love this mini pond!
Color: Brown Style: Pond and Waterfall Kit
The media could not be loaded. Pros: great size, super easy to setup, rocks provided, beautiful addition to any garden or indoor space, sustainable water source for wildlife Improvements needed: gray cap for waterfall spout pops off constantly and cracked, filter is just okay, needs to be cleaned frequently, should come with plant baskets because the canna balls are not held down well by the black stones Despite the minor issues, I love this little pond from the moment I set it up. The waterfall actually flows better without the cap so I just left it off. I added more stones from Lake Michigan because I felt it needed more than what it came with. I used an outdoor extension cord with a plug protector to run it into my garden. I’m disappointed that i haven’t seen any birds or squirrels drink from it. But I love the sound and look of it and am very happy I bought it. I don’t plan to put any fish in it due to its small size. ... show more

  • A dream come true!
Color: Brown Style: Pond and Waterfall Kit
I watched a video by Serpa Designs on Youtube where he altered this mini pond to make it look more natural. I loved it and always wanted to make something like that but didn’t know where to start. This is the perfect base for creating a beautiful natural mini aquascape. I added lots of plants, moss, and rocks to this. I used the big black rocks they send with the kit to weigh down a plastic mesh overtop of the filter rocks so that they won’t float up and over the waterfall. I recommend researching how to set this up and maintain it for fish if that is your goal. About once a month or so you should take a small bucket full of your pond water, take the filter sponge off, and squeeze it out in the pond water bucket repeatedly until it is clean. Never use chemicals for cleaning it. You can tell when it needs cleaning because the waterfall will get less powerful. I waited about 2 or so months before adding a betta fish. I have a small heater in the tank for the betta and because I keep this on my back porch it is important to have a heater in it. The base design may not be the most naturalistic looking but the DIY possibilities with this thing are many! Also, my fish just loves it and I find it easy to maintain. I clean the pond once a week always on Sunday and throughout the week I add more water that is lost from evaporation but I treat the water with a water cleaner meant for fish. NEVER use straight tap water! Anyways I already want a second mini pond!!! Wonderful product that got me back into fish keeping! ... show more

  • Complete mini-pond
Color: Brown Style: Pond and Waterfall Kit
This is a really amazing mini-pond for the price. It sets up quickly and includes all the basics (except plants). I plan to add more rocks, some decorative wood and lots of plants. I did not buy the stand because I was worried about getting it level in the area of my yard it was going to be placed. I used some 16” long cinder blocks topped with a 16” square paving stone as a base and it’s quite steady and elevated enough to easily see from my window. ... show more

  • My fish's new home
Color: Brown Style: Pond and Waterfall Kit
I love this bowl! I was looking for a new home for the fish I overwintered inside (they outgrew their former bowl). This garden fit all my requirements! Sound, light and room for plants, easy to assemble and a good price point. I have not had any issue with the fish getting hurt as others have described. The upper bowl has two layers of rocks--on the bottom goes the expanded clay "rocks" which serve as a medium for planting and heavier black rocks go on top. I set this up before I purchased plants and just layered them thinking I'd plant later. However, the expanded clay rocks are very light and float so if any "escape" from under the black rocks, they float around and over into the big bowl. I just purchased floating plants to avoid disturbing the clay rocks. I would recommend this garden as it's easy to use, lightweight and looks good once placed into a vignette. How do you like mine with the bromeliads? ... show more

  • Was so excited…
Color: Brown Style: Pond and Waterfall Kit
So I loved this idea and honestly the pond was beautiful in the beginning. But overtime the algae got so bad that it clogged the filter on the pump. Cleaning it was a nightmare…
