This is a great product if you have a pond with ducks or geese who refuse to go back into the water because they don't want to swim in their poo any more. Lol!! Follow the instructions on the package. It takes weeks for to work. We can already see a big difference in the pond. It is clearing up nicely. It just takes time. So in the mean time, go get a wading pool and fill it with clean water for your ducks and geese. It won't hurt them to wait it out. It beats draining out the pool, getting a shovel; scooping the carp out of the pond and then refilling it. It's a bit expensive but well worth it. If ya got fish in there like us; they will be ok, and they will be thankful they can see a lot better. 🙂 Get it! Update: On the coldest day of the year, (and yes snow in south TX) our silly ducks decided it was safe to swim and play in the pond again as you can see in the picture. Of course, the weather knocked out our banana trees but they will be back in the spring. So yes this stuff works. It's just a bit expensive. Just get it. It really works.

I have seen results in the shallow lake bottom in front of our house after just one use. I bought a 5 lb tub which is enough for two treatments. I was pleasantly surprised by the results but I think it is overly expensive as most lake products seem to be hence the four stars. I like the fact that it is a natural product to use in our natural lake.

This would be part of a treatment program. And u may have to use other products with it. Being it is safe for wildlife it will not kill your plants it doesn't treat algae. It treats muck the mud at the bottom of a pond and u would have to keep up with it it's not a one and done thing. Just saying after reading what it hasn't done.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This product comes in a convenient package making it easier to store and use. We decided to try this because our Lake is mucky, making it hard to install the dock, and the dogs came out of the water black and smelly. After using it a couple times a summer for 2 years, our shoreline is more sand than muck.

Didn't work for us and company never replied to our inquiry. This is the second product we tried, both unsuccessful. I think some companies prey on peoples hope for a solution. I'd recommend getting an analysis from a professional versus throwing money away.
