  • Works great
Size: 8 Scoop
My pond is very clean.

  • Works great
Size: 16 Scoop
We applied this for the firat yi.e about 2 weeks ago. There has been a major change in the look and feel of the bottom and around our dock. It takes time to work, but we can see changes daily in the clarity of the water and the sandy bottom. Definitely recommend!

  • Seems to be working, but slowly.
Size: 8 Scoop
Not much info included on how to use this stuff other than standard broadcast of an amount relative to area treated. It's working very slowly for me in an area which has had organics accumulating for many years. I'd like to know if more is better for a new treatment area and how to keep it maintained once it's clear or almost clear. I'm in the north where it freezes over in the winter, so I'm hoping the clearing doesn't grow over again under the ice. Instructions say to wait until water is over 50 degrees, so it may be late in the spring before I can resume treatment. Don't know how that will affect continued action. ... show more

  • The only one I use...
Size: 8 Scoop
I have a 1 acre pond out my back door which I like to swim in during the warmer months. At times I have upwards of 50 Canada Geese that live on my pond, along with my rescue foul. I started using Muckaway about 6 years ago, every spring, and it clears the water and muck really well. One time I accidentally took a big gulp of water while swimming, and thought I was going to get sick. Nope! This product has done better than expected and I won't use anything else, even though it's pricey. ... show more

  • Work well but pricey
Size: 8 Scoop
This stuff works really well. Just too darn expensive. It devoured the leaves and a half acre pond but only where it was poured in. I would love to able to afford enough to cover the entire pond.

  • May work for some but definitely does not work for me
Size: 8 Scoop
I read so many reviews and so many people said this worked for them. I hesitated buying it for a couple years. Yet every single time I look up the best option for muck, this is what comes up. I went for it realizing that I will have to be patient. Most reviews say they see results in as little as 2 weeks but some took as long as 4 weeks. I have been applying as directed every 2 weeks. Just waiting until this Saturday to apply for the 4th time. So far, not a bit of difference at all. This stuff is expensive and for it to not have any effect feels like throwing money down the drain. Maybe it works well for very small ponds but my application has been for stubborn areas along my Florida lake shoreline. UPDATE: 12/8/2017 - To date I do not see any positive results. I had spent the rest of it to try and clear up a stubborn spot. Honestly no improvement at all. Very sorry to say that I feel like I just threw $80 and lots of time monitoring for any kind of progress. I just don't get it. ... show more
