The media could not be loaded. Just got mine in yesterday. Set them up Sunday afternoon while cleaning my pond. I had a few sets over the years one from a big box store and one from an auction buy it now online place some years ago the big box store broke within two years and the one from the other place still work but just never put out enough light. Got these here easy to hookup. First I laid them out approximately where I wanted them to be then hid and tucked the wires then plugged them into my waterproof box with all my other pond equipment. I waited for the sun to go down and bam! Bright as all get out amazing light and light control. The remote uses a IR infrared on the dc adapter wish it was a bit longer or had extension but I fished it out of the box and get good range in front of the pond where the lights are. The colors are true bright colors several different effects and a rotating color wheel that you can adjust the speed. It’s amazing product especially for the price. ... show more

Cons: 1. The color change options are mostly too fast. Does anyone really want a strobe light in their pool or pond? The fade option is the slowest, and it's changing colors about every three seconds, so it's not a restful transition between colors. 2. Most of the color options are fairly ugly, but there's enough variety you can probably find some colors you like. 3. Suction cups are worthless. I tied the lights to rocks. Pros 1. Even with all the cons, it's still the best lighting option for ponds I've found so far. It's low voltage, well sealed, bright, low power, and looks good on the right settings. ... show more

    • My advice...choose another product

There is nothing good to say about my experience with this product. I returned it for the following reasons: 1. Poor electrical design. Connector between the light string and the plug is not waterproof, nor is the power supply. Distance from the connector to the first light is too short to allow for covered storage of connector. Plug is incorporated into the power supply so it takes up multiple sockets and won't fit in a waterproof receptacle cover. Remote is very erratic in its operation. 2. Poor lighting design. Rather than true RBG LEDs to achieve the different colors the product has concentric rings of red, blue and green lights. That means the color occupying the outside ring (blue) gives off more light than the others because it has more bulbs. This becomes very obvious when using the "fade" option. 3. Poor physical design. Suction cups will not hold, even to a clean, smooth EPDM liner. Lights are very lightweight plastic and they float. No good way to mount them. 4. Documentation is the worst I've ever seen. Lights are bright... remote has a fade button -- there's no fade to it... every setting (fade, flash, strobe) is fast.... all four lights do not sink... suction cups are worthless... all four lights had to be weighted down or the floated right to the top. Will give this a few more days... if it becomes a problem, will return it... but I'd give it a 2.5 out of 5 if I had that option... ... show more

    • Finally a good, cheap set of LED Waterproof Lights.

They're surprisngly well made and took a fair amount of abuse without leaking water. They're brighter than I figured they'd be, able to cast light about 6-8 feet. They do go through color changes and the remote is cute and fun. I was using this to illuminate a 1,500 gallon Red Tail Catfish tank, but they chewed the cords apart over the course of a month. Thankfully these are low voltage units and forgave them. Nice lights. You should be very happy with them. ... show more

We put these in outside Year around waterfall. I put silicone around Lights Ienses as instructions state if to be submerged and both transformer & connector are in weather protected electrical box. So no problems, 2 months after install. Also there is no real white. Online user problems indicated these issues and failures so I worked around them. Future design suggestions; 8 foot Longer cord to first light, make transformers and plugs weather , allow a true white light. ... show more

I bought these last fall to accent a fountain in my front yard and they were quite impressive. The lights were never in water beause we placed them in landscaping rocks around the fountain. Took them in early last season and went to put them out again but they will only turn on red and are not very bright. I bought a replacement remote from them but that didn't work either. ... show more
