The media could not be loaded. Well, it would’ve gotten five stars if the first one wasn’t making noise after the first week or so it was on. However, due to excellent customer service who replaced it … and has been working flawlessly since installing…. I still give it four stars. Great value for the money and it seems to be pretty durable, but this is only the first year I’ve been using it.. only been working for a couple months. We run the pump nonstop to put air into our 1 acre pond. It is pretty quiet and you can actually have a conversation where as you couldn’t with my old pump. It was so loud we turned it off when we were by the patio close to it. I included pictures and a video to show how quiet it is. Assembly was easy, but I am familiar with these kinds of pumps and basically mimic my old set up. We run two bubblers in my pond.

This is a very useful product that aerates ponds or lakes of up to 3 acres and up to 50 feet in depth. Fish in the pond die, as do plants, when the right amount of oxygen is not present. Airing the pond involves pumping air into it with this product. The air will give air to the fish and the plants and keep them healthy and reproductive, and keep your life beautiful You could use this in a pond at your farm, or a lake, or your community Association may want to use this with several of them to aerate the lake. Often, they are used to pump air into the lake or shoot water into the sky to aerate the water. This particular product features 550 W of power and utilizes a dual piston system to pump compressed air. It even comes with a timer so you can control the start and stop time of the aeration activity. You all remember when you were children and had fish in a fish tank and you got a aeration pump to pump air into your fish tank so if the fish and plants would continue to thrive, the same is true with larger ponds while they’d be at a golf course or some other location they develop sort of a scum on the top of the pond not enough air is getting into the water. This tends to break up the stagnant water, making it healthier for all the animals and plants that live in the pond, and also improves it. The odor of the pond is giving up.

This pump is missing the safety relief valve to make it work properly/safely, the other option is to ignore safety and cap the port where the pressure relief valve should go, but I would not recommend that.

This aerator has been making a difference in my pond, I was having trouble with my old one, there was more algae than what I want to see there and we tried this one out, it took a while to see the difference but definitely worth the process. This aerator was not hard to install and it sits in place correctly, it is a bit heavy but that’s because it’s large capacity, it works really good and doesn’t overheat, is been working pretty good for us without any hiccups. My fish look happier and healthier also with better oxygen levels than what the old aerator was providing, however, I came across the fact that with this system you will have to get your diffuser, tubing, and all the extra stuff to make it work, so be aware that you’ll have to do additional shopping. Another thing is the noise level, I do recommend setting it up (timer included) to be operating in daytime so that you don’t cause unnecessary noise during night time, is not super loud but I prefer to quiet the sound at night.
