I purchased this for my husband as a gift. Our pond has always struggled during the spring and summer with string algae and algae that looks like a bunch of yellow pollen and then it clears up in the fall and winter. We had a little bit of that starting this spring when I placed it in our pond. 3 days of letting it run the algae has cleared up a lot with this help keep the water circulating. It was easy for me to assemble by myself, I hooked up two extension cords to run down from our house to the pond. Easy to put in the water drag to where I wanted and steamed it in the ground. The value of this is so nice because it includes everything you need and even extras like replacement parts. This is an excellent fountain for the price. We bought in Dec and just installed in our 1/2 acre pond. It moves water well, has an even spray which is pretty, the motor does have a bit of a hum but nothing annoying, timing device is intimidating at first but directions are there and it works beautifully. Unfortunately the flotation ring had a small leak so it began to take on water. I jumped through all the hoops to talk to a real person at Amazon because customer service directly to the company seemed non existent. All I want is a new replacement ring. Waiting to hear that’s why 4 instead of 5 stars but will be back and change if the situation is resolved. Only other negative is it came with bright yellow-orange mooring mooring rope which was an eye sore. We switched out immediately for the same rope only blue green so you can’t see it in our water. ... show more

Works great. Good volume, does clog up a bit, but if you have a boat you can just clean it every couple of weeks. I may use a drill to open the fountain spouts a bit wider, but still likely to clog over time if you have a standard pond.

Buy it! I have waited for years to buy a fountain for our pond because I thought they were so expensive. I was skeptical at first but honestly, best purchase!!! It took about a week to clear my nasty pond along with muck cleaner and pond dye. Now it looks awesome.

Perfect for my pond. Will be ordering a few more for more ponds. Cord length is generous. Comes with stakes and ropes as well! Great spray pattern, provides great relaxing sound. No issues at all.
