If you only use one aerator diffuser attached to the air pump it may become buoyant enough to move around on the bottom of the pond. I had to add extra weight to keep it positioned where I wanted it. So far it has worked good and runs continuously.

The media could not be loaded. Hose sinks in water and feels like a thick rubber material. Both bubblers should be connected to equalize air volume because air compressor has just one single speed. Note there’s no switch, it turns on when plugged in so this would pair with a switch or timer nicely. The bubblers have a steel plate base that sinks that should probably be anchored down with some stones. Air compressor feels heavy duty and simple to wire as it includes some wire connectors. There’s different metallic materials so hopefully they don’t suffer galvanic corrosion and this has a decent lifespan. Size feels big enough for ponds and air flow is ample with lots of bubbles. Membrane is sort of an open cell foam material that’s porous but feels like rubber.

Everything is in the kit, assembled in 1/2 hour, ran the pump with no load and it pulled 4.25 amps, it has really good airflow, the pump is around 25 to 50db and if covered it should be quiet but keep in mind the enclosure need to be vented good for heat and airflow, I only ran for about 20 minutes and it heated up very little and seemed to stabilize. My pond is too far to run AC but it will run just fine off 2 solar panels, a solar controller, cheap 300watt car inverter and a 100ah battery.

The media could not be loaded. This is working really well for me. I give it 4 stars only because the instructions are minimal and only cover part of the assembly (electrical and air filter only). There is nothing about the air hoses, aerators, suggested placement, length of hoses (single 100’ hose…should it be cut 50-50? Can it be cut 60-40 or 70-30? ). I did set this up in my pool first and let it run overnight to ensure it works well before installing it in my grungy algae-covered pond. It appears to be working well in the pond and I fully expect it to eventually clear out the algae and clear the water to enable the fish and viewing experience to thrive. The packaging is excellent. The shipper web site content is useless.

Connector burnt out after only 2 months of use nearly started a fire. Contacted MFG as it is under warranty heard nothing back. Stay away

It does not come assembled. I don't know how to wire the plug and other wires onto it. The directions are not clear at all. I hope I can find someone to put it together for me.
