I bought this for my daughter who is 4, just so she'd leave others' alone. I was very impressed by how pretty it was in looks and sound when it arrived. So impressed, that I wished I had bought this one as my first uke. So all are aware, I bought this for no more than $20 at the time of purchase.

I am a first-time ukulele player, and I wanted something in my budget. What a great find this was! Ukulele seems very well made, and I love the fun light turquoise color. After reading the other reviews I was worried about the nylon strings, which absolutely were very out of tune the first day or two (as in, play for 10 seconds, need to retune), but they’ve stretched out now and it’s much better! The more you play the better both you AND the tuning get lol. Also, compared to guitar strings, these are much nicer to your fingertips. The case/bag has a little handle. The case is thin, but it serves as basic protection from dirt and debris; it won’t protect against being dropped (and honestly, for a $25 ukulele I definitely wasn’t expecting a fancy Otterbox guitar case with it). Bought this for fun to see if I could learn to play it. I found lots of tutorials on YouTube and I've learned some basic chords and am teaching myself to play "I"m Yours" I also downloaded an app to my phone that easily helps me tune it as I don't have a piano or other tuning device. The instrument is a fun color blue and does indeed go out of tune quickly...at first. I check the tuning frequently, and the strings are holding their tune closer each day. Other reviewers have clued me into the fact that the nylon strings have a "breaking in" period. I feel confident that eventually it will just need its tuning checked in more normal intervals. All stringed instruments must be tuned: guitars, violins, pianos. Needing to tune this ukulele daily is not unusual nor make it "defective." The ukulele came with a nylon carrying case with a handle and also came in a really neat box that I plan to keep and use to store the ukulele long term. The box will make gift wrapping and gift giving easy and pretty cool IMO. ... show more

Excellent quality for a great price. I bought this ukulele and it's just as expected. The wood is very smooth and non-scratchable. It also comes with a bag, so it's easy to carry around. Ukuleles are good for beginners like me who want to learn to play the guitar, and this is a perfect choice.

I bought it for my sister who has been asking for one for ages. My biggest complaints are 1) paint leaves finger smudges easily 2) bag only opens on the bottom Other then that it was a bit difficult to tune at first because it was so out of tune (the first G i tuned up an octave.) but it seems to be a beautiful instrument and will make a great present. ... show more
