Other than the fact that they are not "heavy duty", these page protectors are good value for the money and, although I cannot confidently predict their longevity, from my experience with similar plastic products, I hope that, used gently, they shall last for at least 10 years or so. Just keep them away from direct sunlight and remember that above average room temperatures shorten lifespan of most soft plastics.

The media could not be loaded. Let’s start with the very worst part: these have no opening! You have to figure out how to open the pocket to insert what you are trying to protect. I gave up after easing the other review on this issue, and because of the following: protect? Nah, these are so thin they are useless And if you could get the items in and felt they were protected, you won’t be able to clearly see what you put in there.

I find that these sheet protectors are the smallest amount wider than the Avery version, maybe 1/32". It is just enough so that sliding paper in is much easier than the aforementioned competing brand. The only downside is that the opening is semi-sealed a lot of times, probably from trimming at the factory. It's annoying because I end up wrinkling the cover trying to get it open because I have to tightly rub it between my finger, but it is not terrible.
