I’m a genealogist. These acid-free sheet protectors are a dream come true. I tell most of my clients to order archival quality sheet protectors from academic suppliers like Gaylord Archival, but if a client is struggling financially, then I recommend these since they’re made from very similar materials (*take my advice at your own risk). These acid-free sheet protectors are ideal for long term preservation of family photos, documents, etc for most people. I love these so much that I have literally bought five “300 sheet packs,” for my personal genealogy research. I have 20 binders full of these sheets! Obsessive? Of course! But they work! I use these to store my own family documents and lineages because I cannot afford Gaylord Archival or Mylar, and these work just as well!
