    • Beautiful carpet!
I purchased these carpet tiles for an upstairs hallway. Besides going around the stairwell, I had 4 doorways to deal with, but these were so easy to put down! I found the best way to cut them was to mark the bottom and use a metal straight edge and sharp box cutter. It made a nice, clean cut. They adhere very well. When laying the tiles next to each other, I found it worked best to slightly pull up the edge of the one that was already installed and then press the two down together. This kept the carpet fibers from getting caught in between or underneath the two tiles, and therefore I cannot see any lines. The only thing I might recommend is to order one or two boxes more than you think you will need. When I measured, I measured the whole room and ordered the amount I should have needed for that area. I did not deduct anything for the stairwell, which is about a 35" x 80" area. With that large of an area where no carpet was needed, I figured I would have enough carpet left over to put in the small 24" x 40" closet, but I used every last square for the hallway floor and all I have left are a bunch of narrow strips from around the edges. Nothing I can use in the closet. I have put down carpet in rooms before. I would say it is more time consuming to put down the tiles than a full carpet, but it was a lot easier than wrestling with a large piece of carpet when I'm all by myself. And much easier dealing with 18 inches than with 8 feet (or 18) feet when the walls are not square! Overall, I am very happy with these tiles and would definitely order them again if I had any more carpeting to do. ... show more

These were the best purchase for diy carpet, very easy to do, seamless and fluffy, adhesive strips are great but added extra to be sure they wouldn't move. Saw reviews of others saying they had seams, pretty sure those who did have seams didn't pay attention to what they were doing, there are arrows on the back of each tile. Be sure to pay attention to those arrows and have them all go the same direction and you will have no seams. Extremely satisfied with the quality of these and would purchase again for another room. ... show more

    • Very easy to work with and feels great
K, first, i was thrown off by the description cause it said 18x18 then later says 18x3 so it is 18x18. Second, i did a 13'x13' room with. 4'x8' closet and used 10 boxes so if you wonder how much youll need and not up on how much maybe thatll help. Color is very good but not as thick as i thought. Padding is denser (like memory) foam whichales it wasy to trim and place. Im actually impressed by it. Made sure to butt the pieces together and once pressed down they look great. Cost is about the same for me to gave bought roll but considering i can change out any stained pieces at any time i think ill like this ... show more

Got these carpet tiles to test out in my hallway before potentially doing the entire living room. They were so easy to lay and so far stick really well. They allow for replacement if you don’t lay it right the first time. It doesn’t even look like tile squares! Directions were easy to follow. For being thinner, are surprisingly comfortable to walk/sit on too. Now to see if they hold up to 3 big dogs, a child, and 2 adults. Really loving these in the space! ... show more

Was skeptical that you would not see the seams because of other reviews but I figured it was operator error so I bought the tiles. I tore out the old carpet and placed new tiles down in just under 4 hours. Needed an inexpensive carpet for a room we smoke in. It came out better than I could imagine. Truly seamless, very good quality. The only thing I think should be improved is the padding could be thicker. But it’s still soft. ... show more

The carpet squares are very easy to install and truly are seamless. The quality of the carpet fibers is great. My main frustration is the lack of quality control. There were a few pieces in the box that had thinner carpet along the edge and had to be strategically placed to keep that seamless look. I could let that slide, but was greatly disappointed when I came across a piece that has an obvious defect. For the cost of this product, I expected a box where every piece was usable. ... show more
