Tested this filament today before investing in it for a large cosplay project, and found it to be very easy to print with using Polymaker's downloadable filament profiles and no tweaks to our Bambu A1 series printers. Adhesion was excellent at 60C, had no issues with clogging or stringing. I used the "A" version to print some costume pieces for my grandson. It prints very beautifully on my old Ender-3 Max. Doesn't need any fuss to use it, just load it in the printer and let it rip. Multi-day print jobs cause no anxiety when using Polymaker filament!

Easy to print, good surface quality. For the best results, perform filament calibration for your printer as this filament is different than standard PLA filament. This filament was purchased to print a cosplay headdress (Princess Amidala, final senate appearance) for a friend and it turned out really great after a couple of early prints where I was still dialing in settings. ... show more

Update: I have found settings for my printer that work well and have made this filament an excellent choice for modeling. If you use a 0.6 nozzle it works better. It still gets a bit stringy, and can be brittle when removing any supports, but has held up well for various builds. Previous: Honestly this filament just kind of sucks. I have tried every available bed and nozzle temperatures within their recs and out. I’ve cleaned the print bed and added some trusty glue stick, and I can’t get it to stick. The stuff that does stick then becomes so embedded that I have to do a full print bed cleaning to even be able to try again. It mostly just globs up inside the nozzle and I constantly have to unclog it. And, if I have to join a discord server just to learn how to use their product, not worth it. The one piece that did print properly is nice quality and sturdy. So I guess they can have a star. I’ve since switched filaments and my print is just fine. Brittle. I dried it after having issues with the layers adhering to themselves with my first print, and still had issues after that. Lots of spaghetti. Seems quite brittle to be sanded after. Maybe I got a bad roll, but I don't think I'll be ordering Polymaker brand again. It did not leave a good impression. ... show more
