The roll was missing a few feet on the roll which sucks because I ordered based on my measurements. Can’t return as I cut the roll as needed assuming length was exact

I purchased this 16.4 ft x 3.94 ft polycarbonate roofing sheet for a slightly different application than a greenhouse. I used it to make my louvered pergola more rain resistant, and it has performed very well — both under strong sun and during the heavy rains and winds we’ve been experiencing lately. The material itself strikes a nice balance: thin enough (0.8 mm) to be workable and easy to handle, yet rigid and durable once secured in place. It cuts cleanly with common tools and was simple to size correctly for my structure. Laying it down and fastening it to the existing framework was straightforward, very DIY-friendly. One of the things I appreciate most is the high light transmission. It allows plenty of natural daylight through — around that advertised 85% — so the space underneath doesn’t feel dark or closed in. At the same time, it clearly provides solid weather protection. Rain runs off effectively, and the panels have stayed stable despite wind exposure. The polycarbonate material feels tough and resilient. It doesn’t seem prone to warping or cracking, and so far it has maintained its clarity under direct sun without yellowing. For an outdoor application exposed to both UV and storms, that’s reassuring. If I had one minor critique, it would be that once unrolled, it takes a little time to fully relax and assume a perfectly flat shape. It’s manageable and not a deal-breaker — just something to be aware of during installation. It certainly doesn’t affect my overall satisfaction. For versatility, weather resistance, and ease of installation, this product delivers. Five well-earned stars from me.

These hoops are a lifesaver. They helped to provide the protection our veggies needed, improving the quality of our harvests big time! We had a lot fewer problems with insects eating our crop as well as the sun scorching the tender leaves. Squirrels and birds were kept at bay and we didn’t have to worry about damage from frost on those rare occasions. They are super easy to install; we used them all of last year (2 growing seasons) — they held up great. They survived some really windy weather not to mention driving rain and scorching heat. The rods didn’t break or fall over at any point.

I am so looking forward to using this. I know it's made for greenhouses, and I think it's great for that, but I have a lanai that gets beat to death by the wind year after year, and I've put up shade sails to block some of the wind and each time they get torn apart. So when I saw this product, and it said it can stand up to rain and heavy winds, I thought hey! this might work for my lanai, and I think it will. It comes wound in tube fashion but it's very hard. It has a hardness similar to the plastic mats that are put under office chairs so the wheels can roll more easily than on carpeting. But it's much thinner. Very dense but thin enough to roll if you have the strength. I'm going to attach it to the posts with some screws, which I think will hold it in place well. I love that it's clear so, once it's up, I'll still be able to still see into the yard. I'm really excited! In the picture I used a sharpie pen to pull one layer of it away from the roll to give you an idea of its thickness. I'd say it's probably 1/16" or so, give or take a split hair. I think it'll work well and on top of that it's the perfect size for the spot I'm looking to use it in.

I used these polycarbonate panels for a small greenhouse project where I needed something lightweight and transparent without dealing with glass. The roll was easy enough to handle and cut to size with basic tools and that made fitting it to a wood frame straightforward. The panels are thin but reasonably stiff once attached and they’ve held their shape well so far. Light transmission is good. Rain runs off cleanly and the material hasn’t warped or cracked with temperature changes. Because the sheets are only 0.8 mm thick, they need proper support underneath and don’t feel heavy-duty on their own. As long as they’re secured well, they work fine for greenhouse or covered outdoor use where impact resistance isn’t the main concern.
