I agonized quite a bit over the kind of chair that I would purchase to go with my leather sectional of a similar color. A lot of the styles that I found just didn't match my aesthetic, but once I found THIS one, I was in love. The leather is soft and the curvature of the armrests is perfect. The bottom cushion has straps to attach it to the frame. The top cushion is not attached, but it doesn't slide when you sit in it. My husband is 6 feet tall and I am 5 feet tall and we both find it comfortable. I've spent more time in this chair in the first couple of weeks that I've owned it than I spent in my previous chair that I had owned for years. I highly recommend this chair. ... show more

I needed a small chair For a small space in front of a window and this is perfect. I would not call it Necessarily black leather as it's really more of a dark gray with light tones in the grain.
