I was back and forth between this sofa and another brand at another retailer that used spring-loaded sofa cushions. They both have solid wood frames and leather everywhere (both VERY important for longevity) and was leaning a bit towards the spring-loaded sofa cushions based on some of the reviews for this sofa indicating the cushions had gone flat fairly quickly. What changed my mind to this sofa was recognizing that I can have the cushions re-stuffed with higher quality foam relatively inexpensively if/when they break down vs having springs eventually poke through the leather of a cushion. The fact the chase/sofa went on sale for under $2k for the first time in my watching it for over two years created the 'right now' buying decision. Assembly was simply a matter of screwing the legs in (and make sure to differentiate the corner legs from the center legs - they are different lengths) and attaching the two pieces together with the pre-attached clasps. The leather looks fantastic and I fully expect this to last as long as our current leather sofa, which we've had for about 25 years. Another thing I like about this sofa that led to the demise of our current leather sofa is it had the back cushions stitched to the sofa, so there was no back to the cushion. As the stitching eventually (with pets and kids) tore away, the cushions according to three different furniture repair people in the area couldn't be reattached easily or affordably. This sofa having fully removable back and seat cushions is a benefit. The final selling point about this style was that is sits about five inches off the ground, allowing our little robot vacuum to clean underneath it. I've included one pic showing the zippered 'container' on the bottom of one sofa where the legs are stored for transport, which I thought was pretty creative. I also tried to grab an image of the wood exposed where the legs screw in, but it appears to be to washed out for detail; it should show the all-wood (rather than 'manufactured wood') construction providing better strength and resilience. ***Four month update and pics - the sofa is doing fantastic. It's used by our dogs (weights between 60 lb - 130 lb, because anything under 50 lb is a cat) much more than us: it's a springboard, a wrestling mat, a lounging appliance and a sleeper. To be fair, we have had a cover on the sofa since we purchased it (off today for a washing), but it still looks new. A few feathers are starting to escape, which isn't a surprise. I love this couch. My kids &dog love it.The leather is butter soft the color is rich and classic. I’m really impressed by it. I had been couch shopping for a while and most leather couches were stiff not very comfortable. I was nervous ordering this one but glad I took the chance. Couldn’t be happier with it. Looking forward to the the leather aging and getting more worn in. Shipping/delivery I ordered from Amazon for the quickest shipment and the delivery was excellent. The box is massive it comes in one piece you need two people to pick the couch up and take out of the box. The legs attach easily. The box after being cut up will take up your entire recycling bin. I am happy I didn’t pay $100 for the extra service of disposal of the box it took 20 minutes outside with a new box cutter. Happy shopping 💖 ... show more

Moved into a new spot and needed a new couch, I wanted something nice this go 'round, so I did a ton of research. Poly & Bark has this beautiful color that would work well with most of our living rooms items, so I was sold. I visited their website several times, but finally found it on Amazon. Score! The delivery was so fast (2 days, I think) and the 2 gentlemen that delivered it, were polite and finished the set-up in minutes. This couch is beautiful, comfortable, durable and pretty light for the size. It's solid, but my husband and I can lift it pretty easily. I have slept on it, spilled water on it, splattered butter on it and got some sort of sticky stuff on it. (Yes, it's where we sometimes eat.) Everything has cleaned up without a trace. I have not treated it with anything. I love this couch. I'll be buying an ottoman for the other side. I only have 1 small complaint - the back pillows are not leather on the back side. I would love to be able to turn them around from time to time. For now, I'll just shuffle them around. We're almost 6 ft, so we needed a couch that we could sit on without feeling like we were shrinking into it or onto the floor. It's very firm, for the comfort level. This is the one! The leather is good and sturdy. Respect it by taking care of it I slept on it for two weeks....Its comfortable. You can turn over or remove the cushions. Mine is 88. inches long so I can stretch out on it. Its a beautiful couch and it will never go out of style. The cognac color is warm. Amazon Delivers with this product! I 💕 it! ... show more

About this beautiful leather sofa - 1st of all it’s Poly & Bark. No, I am not a paid spokesperson.; just a very, very satisfied customer! This is the third leather sofa I have purchased from them since 2020 and if the occasion arises, I will buy another one. The sofa is beautiful. The quality of craftsmanship is exceptional and the comfort is world class. I posted the three pictures so that it can show the stages of development in my new home as I am bringing it together with the sofa being the centerpiece of my living room. Of course you can probably find a less expensive leather sofa online, but this is one of those situations where you get what you pay for and then some. ... show more
