Pretty nice spread of rare cards found within this particular box - 1 SIR, 4 IR, 2 UR, and a handful of EX. Didn’t get any of my personal chases, however, the box had a lot to offer otherwise… and was far from a “dead box” collectors are occasionally burned with. I was a bit hesitant about the packaging at first, but I’m so glad I bought it! I had a blast opening the packs and managed to snag some cards I really wanted from the pitch black. I even got the SIR Gwynn and a Mega Darkrai ultra rare. I’ll definitely be buying from this seller again!

So,we have another new Pokemon set here-lets see what we can capture! For starters,none of the bigger names are included in this one.No Charizard,Blastoise or Venusaur to be found,and Pikachu took a break from making an appearance as well 😭but that's ok because this set focuses on Pokemon that you typically don't find as much.The big hits here are from characters like Darkrai,Chandelure,Slowbro with more of the obscure characters like Silvally and Cranidos making appearances after some time away from sets.For game players,you will find some pretty powerful characters with cool abilities that will certainly win you a game or two.For collectors,there are some nice hits that really feature some great artwork.Everyone is chasing the Special Illustration Rare or Gold Darkrai of course,but another handful of characters got their Mega EX cards this time around as well.We pulled four different illustration rares,two ultra rares featuring trainer cards,two more featuring Pokemon,five Mega EX double rares including Delphox,Chandelure,Darkrai,Excadrill& Zeraora,3 more double rares including Morpeko EX and a stack of rares.We were lucky enough to pull the Special Illustration Rare Chandelure and an Ultra Rare Darkrai,but I think my favorite card we pulled was the Mistys Vitality Ultra Rare.This is also a smaller set(84 cards) which includes Rare Holofoils and Double rares,but we put together three(3) complete sets of the Common(37 cards)and Uncommon(26 cards)base cards.I was able to compile one complete Rare Holofoil set also(11 cards) but came up a few cards short of a master set of 84 cards.All in all,not a bad box..This is definitely not a set everyone will enjoy-like I said,no big names can be found this time around, but the appearance of a few obscure characters,some turning into Mega EX form,make it worth checking out in my opinion.The Illustration Rares that can be pulled feature some very creative art that I believe will turn into Fan Favorite Classics,especially the Special Illustrations.I rated this a four star because the seller took over a week to ship it for no good reason,and this was not a pre-sale item,but the box was loaded with hits and my son was happy-so win win I guess:) Now,let's wait patiently for the 30th Anniversary Series to come out in September...Happy Hunting Pokefans!:) ... show more
