These are great. So comfortable and easy to use. You forget you're even wearing them. I use these when I have light periods and they work great. If you're having a moderate to heavy period, you'd need to use one of their thicker/heavier options. These are also great for everyday bladder issues. After having a baby and with just getting older in general, these offer great backup protection, just in case. They're unscented (thank the Lord- who decided making pads scented was ever a good thing to do?) and they keep you dry. I've purchased this particular style a few times now and would do so again! A family member actually introduced me to this brand about 20 years ago, when I needed a pad during a period, and I haven't looked back since. They have all kinds of different pads (lengths and thicknesses) that would work for your period or incontinence, and they're SO much better than the pads actually made for periods. I have been buying Poise Pads extended length for several years now, I usually buy from local Walgreens. This is the first time have bought on Amazon, reason being that with the pandemic, the local Walgreens has been out of stock for some time. Here are the Pros and Cons of these Poise Extended Length bought on Amazon. NOTE: The product delivered was manufactured in China and language on label is English and French. Packaged in a box, not the plastic bag typical of US manufactured version of the product. The attached pictures is a comparison of the US and the Chinese manufactured product. The solid colored package is the US manufactured version (or the open pad on the bottom of second picture). Cons: The Chinese pads are not as thick and not as absorbent as the US manufactured version. Also Chinese version doesn't have the same odor masking ability as the US manufactured version. Pros: The mastic on the Chinese version works very well and does not stick and tear off when removing from cotton underwear like the US manufactured version. Overall, Chinese version lays flatter then US version and is longer then US version. ... show more

If you're reading this you're probably debating if these are right ones for you. All I can say is they've saved me over & over which is especially important when I'm out & about. My biggest hint on these - turn them so that the end away from the white pull tab goes "in front" up top in your panties. Otherwise the adhesive strip that's near the pull tab end will stick to you which can be very uncomfortable. The adhesive strip is longer on one end than the other. Hmmmm. Looks like they'd make them even but they didn't. ... show more
