I bought this for my Chevy avalanche and the screen works great in it. I will however need to have some help hooking up the camera part of it. I like how easy it connects by just plugging in my phone as I don't like to use Bluetooth all that much. It works with the mirroring function as well too. Wasn't too hard to set up and get it all going. I like it so that I can see and hear the map app give me directions better than just trying to look at my phone and listen to it while driving. Love that I can play music on it as well because one of the speakers in my truck doesn't want to work right.

This is a pretty good add-on to an older car stereo. The main vehicle this will be in is an older luxury car that the existing infotainment screen has stopped working. A while back my son and I tried to replace the stereo but this particular car has a high end surround system with about 15 different sets of speaker wires and part of the HVAC controls are run through the screen. Trying to work around that to install an aftermarket stereo is beyond my current skills and I wasn't motivated to learn how for my kids' college car. The Podofo Wireless stereo is perfect for this application! It can be set up to use an FM signal to transmit through the existing car audio. Now we have bluetooth capability where before we had a blank screen! The sound quality isn't great, but I think a lot of that is because without the existing vehicle display I can't adjust balance/fade. There is a speaker built in to this unit but that is pretty quiet and hard to hear over other vehicle noises. The controls aren't real intuitive at first, but are easy once you've used them once or twice. I think my first time using it took me a couple minutes to set it up before I drove away. Not bad considering the number of features offered. I have only used the Android Auto settings, so far, and setup is pretty straight forward if you've ever paired anything in the past. Reconnecting after it has been set up is automatic but isn't always instantaneous. There was one time where it seemed to stall when trying to connect but unplugging and replugging was all that was needed to get it to connect, again. I would prefer an installed aftermarket stereo to this, so if you have that option you may want to explore it. In our case this was MUCH easier. Another case where this could be really useful is if you have multiple vehicles with older stereos - you could transfer this screen easily between vehicles rather than replace the stereo deck in multiple cars. Oh, I also haven't installed the included backup camera, so I can't comment on that at this time. There really are a lot of features packed into this system for the price!

This is a great option for anyone with an older model car. Put this in our 2007 Corolla and works great!! The car is older so there isn't an option to connect with bluetooth or the aux cord to use the car speakers but using the Apple CarPlay for even just the GPS is a game changer. 100% would recommend to anyone!

This system is easy to install, connects perfectly, and makes it easy to listen to music, view gos, and everything else you need it to. The backup camera works perfectly. The Velcro for the remote on the steering wheel isn't very strong though so it falls off easily.

I got this for my dad because he often has trouble reading directions from google maps on his phone when driving. This works perfectly for him because now he see the map so much better, and along with the FM radio connection to his minivan he can hear the directions even clearer. If you get this for someone who isn't really tech savvy then I would say help them set this up though, because it wasn't exactly easy having to explain bluetooth connection to my dad. But otherwise definitely a great investment for your car!
