After weeks of research, reading reviews, watching YouTube videos (even the longer ones), I chose to purchase the: MAONO Podcast Equipment Bundle with Audio Interface and XLR Condenser Microphone, MaonoCaster (AME2A) - The reviews were all very positive for this podcast equipment bundle - Once I opened it, I was extremely happy because it was exactly what I needed and what the many reviews described (re: functionality, quality, ease of use, etc.) - I did have a problem initially that I needed assistance with - This is usually where a customer's experience starts going bad - That is NOT the case with MAONO - I contacted the company expecting this to go into a days and possibly weeks long aggravating experience - Their "after sales" team contacted me within hours with several solutions to try - Their reply was friendly, upbeat and very clear for me to understand - They asked me to record a short video to demonstrate the problem so that they could give me the best solution - I made a short video on my phone, sent it to them and within hours they replied that THEY preferred to send me a new unit - The new unit was sent out immediately the day I gave them my mailing information - I have NEVER had an experience like this - I was ready for a back and forth tussle, but that was not what I got, and these days this is beyond rare - This kind of service is more or less extinct now - The best word I can think of to describe my whole experience with MAONO is "Astonished" - That may sound "over the top", but it is true - Their "after sales" team is "over the top" in a fantastic way! If I need any additional equipment they will be the first company I go to, no question about it! You can seriously buy with confidence with this company. This device crams a lot into a small compact shape. I bought it as a first stop on the way to creating some audio content for social media. It came as a bundle with the condenser mic. Plus points: 1. Mic has very good sound. 2, Bluetooth connection enables music to be streamed as background with the ability to apply audio ducking when speaking. 3. Ability to add an instrument and control volume, 4. Ability a control pitch and everblooming/Wachovia effects for voice. 5. A good number of pads to store and recall audio. Cons. 1. No ability to record - needs separete recording device like Pc/Cellphone. 2. Live out ports seem to have no volume and may require pre-amp. 3, only one XLR mic input is limiting. 4. Build quality is not as solid as I would like especially the mic sliders. 5. Small size means fine control Tsing sliders and dials is tricky. Overall: Good for the price. Very good sound quality. Could be a great product for a solo podcaster who is just sraering out, however the lack of a second XLR 48v powered mic input would make it difficult to manage interview style podcasts of any quality.

I purchased this unit a while back and it worked great for my first podcast. I didn’t use it for about a year and then recently tried using it but having difficulties with the audio that would stream to my Instagram. I worked with tech support to determine the product was defective BUT THE COMPANY TOTALLY STOOD BEHIND ME AND REPLACED RHE UNIT. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BRAND. IM SURE THE NEXT UNIT WILL WORK GREAT!
