The best thing about this expanding hose is that it's super light weight. It will expand out to about the length that it says, but the way I have mine hooked up, there's less water pressure, so I probably have a little less length when eater is in it. The tube inside the hose is skinny. No joke. It's fine for what I need it for, but sprinklers (again, I have mine hooked up a bit differently) don't have the same power behind them, also the sprinkler will need something to hold it where you want it, if you are fully extending the hose out, or else it will shrink back up and not stay where you put it. You can easily step on this hose and stop the water flow. If you have a kid whose kind of a jerk, they will do this. The hose does work well enough for light duty watering. I was able to hose out, with a jet stream sprayer attached, the moss chunks from the cracks of my sidewalk, but it probably took a little longer than it should have. It did have enough pressure to do it though, but it would take forever to hose all the debris out to the road for the sweeper. I bought the 100 ft hose. It probably goes 75 ft without having to pull on it. You can probably get it near 100 ft, if you are pulling in it, but it won't stay in place if you're trying to do a sprinkler. When you turn the water off, if you have any attachment on the hose, you will want to get the water out of the line in order for it to shrink up and be light weight again. Just know that. Maybe have a few plants that you need to give a little more water to or something. Why 4 stars? I knew what I was getting into. I very specifically wanted a light weight hose that wasn't going to get those kinks that make dents in the line. I bought the 100 ft, knowing that it probably was going to take effort to get it to the full 100 ft. I did know the water was restricted. I knew all this based on the reviews. I love how compact it is when there's no water in it, and how light weight it is. Those were the two things I wanted for THIS hose. I have other hoses for heavier duty. ... show more

So far so good with this new hose. I LOVE how small and compact it is for a 100 foot hose. It is also very lightweight and maneuverable!! We had another hose at the front of the house and it was a pain in the neck to roll up and very heavy. I needed something to water the plantings out front and also use to wash cars on the driveway. We have only had it for a month so the jury is still out on the durablitlity of the hose but I did read that you should totally empty the hose of water before storing away which only takes a minute. Possibly the reason others have said that their hose didn't hold up well is because they did't empty it as suggested by the manufacturer. Very pleased with my purchase. ... show more

The pro is that it is very light and easy to move and store when drained of water. Now, here are all the cons I personally found using it. The instructions clearly stated to store it inside for longer life, which clearly means it will not hold up if it's left outside with the sun beating down on it all day, especially in the hot summer, and since the out construction I think is a nylon fabric, it won't take the heat for long, like a regular rubber hose. If you use your hose several times a day, or very frequently, this is not the hose for you, if you need to be disconnecting it from the faucet to store inside and taking it outside to connect every time you need to use it, it will get old. If your faucet is a shaded area that doesn't get sun it may work for you to keep it outside connected to the faucet. It must also be completely drained of water before storing, it does not drain very fast, it drains very slowly and if you're in a hurry, too bad. Instructions also say, you can remove the silver bullet nozzle and use your own. That doesn't work well either, this hose depends completely on water pressure to work properly, the gasket in the bullet nozzles has a very small hole to restrict the amount of water out the hose so the hose has constant pressure, a regular water nozzles doesn't have that kind of gasket, and it doesn't give you enough water restriction to build the pressure, and the water pressure is very low, and the gasket from the bullet doesn't work with a regular nozzle. Last, you can't use a water wheel reel to store it, does not work at all, I tried reeling it when still solid, I tried when completely drained, I tried loose storage , and a tight storage, both with water and drained, no method worked, The best storage I found, once drained of water, it coils very easy and nice in a 5gal bucket, and take it inside. So bottom line, this hose is not for heavy regular use that needs to be used on the fly and stored on the fly. If you want to use it on a limited bases, very infrequently, and don't mind the connecting and disconnecting and taking it in and out, then it will work for you. If you demand a hose that is already connected to faucet all the time to use on the fly, and in constant use, then this is not the hose for you. ... show more

Nice thick hose coils back up nicely. Thicker material than other hoses I have bought like this one. Disappointed with the nozzle it came with, could not use it to water flowers. Had to purchase a $10 sprayer after spending $50 for the hose. Other than the nozzle would recommend.

Best hose I’ve ever purchased! I hate rolling up a hose and constantly getting kinks in it when you’re trying to use it, but I was a little hesitant to spend the money for this hose.
