I had some flooding from a water leak in my apartment some time ago and bought those moisture absorbing pellets and they’re ‘okay’, but get expensive so I decided to grab this dehumidifier and see how well one this size would work. I’m quite impressed! In just a few days it’s pulled more moisture from the air than those moisture absorbing pellets could pull in nearly a month! And those things are so expensive to keep buying vs. this which you only pay for once, other than the electricity it uses but that’s relatively inconsequential. Sure, there are those larger units, but they’re so big! I just don’t have that much room for one. This dehumidifier just sits on a shelf and works away in silence. I don’t mind the LED lights, either. It casts a nice glow at night. It’s also very easy to set up and drain the water out when necessary. I’d defined recommend this if you have issues with high humidity or just want to dehumidify the air in your space. ... show more

I live in Florida so a dehumidifier is a must for me. I tried the damp rid and the hanging bags which work well but are very expensive and don’t last long. The humidifier arrived on time and was packaged well. It’s very easy to use. It has an AC cord and you just plug it in. It has 7 different color lights that you can choose from. Or you can leave the night light off. It automatically shuts down when the water tank is full. It’s very quiet when it runs also. It has 2 speeds so low is best if you sleep near it. The water tank is removable so it’s easy to dump. I highly recommend this dehumidifier. It’s definitely working well for me and worth the money. ... show more

This room dehumidifier is a great unit. It is small and it takes up little room so it can sit on a countertop or end table and very easily be moved from room to room. It is very quiet in any of its modes so it won't disturb you in a family room (watching TV) or bedroom (sleeping).     • Very quiet and does a great job!
This dehumidifier uses Peltier technology rather than a compressor so it is very quiet (you only hear the noise of the fan) yet it still does a great job removing moisture from the air. It runs on a 12 volt DC adaptor that you plug into the wall which I found very convent because it allowed me to easily rig it up to run on my 12 volt solar system in my small recreastional vehicle. I have owned a number of dehumidifiers over the years including several others that use this Peltier technology but this one is of much higher quality than the others of this type I have used and I highly recommend it! ... show more

I really really like the build quality of this compact dehumidifier, it is small but built like a tank. Seriously, from a product designer myself, it is very well made. The materials are light without feeling cheap and it is very quiet even in the high setting. Totally recommended.

I love spending time on the beach at my sister’s townhouse and this humidifier in my room makes my staying so much more pleasurable:) It does not take a lot of space , it is quiet enough that I can sleep with it on and the lights are making the ambiance so warm and best of all it does the job , I do not feel so clammy in my bedroom now :)) love it ... show more

This is a small and cute humidifier. Perfect for small rooms. It has a cute colorful light feature if you would like to keep the light on and change the colors. The power adapter is a little bulky. Build material is ok.
