These are terrific--easy to clean, perfect size for our pizza dough balls. We regularly make pizza at home, have tried numerous other containers and ways of storing our dough in fridge and freezer. This was the best value and they work beautifully. Our dough process is that we store the pizza dough balls in our fridge overnight to mature. Next day we make one pizza. Other four, in these containers are put into the freezer for upcoming weeks of homemade pizza. So easy to use and washup is a snap. Really convenient that these are so durable as they do from counter, to fridge, to freezer and back to counter when you need them.

The Kevjes are nicely sized. You can place a wide range of dough ball sizes/weights in the container. They also have very tight fitting covers. They keep the air and moisture OUT. They are extremly stackable and storable. Basically, these are nice proofing containers at a decent price. However, the one thing I found problematic, which is why I only gave it 4 stars, is removing the dough balls from the container after proofing. First of all, the walls of the container are cuved so to make sure the dough balls were free from the walls of the container, I bent a plastic dough cutter to the shape of the Kevjes' wall. That worked out well as the sides never did stick. The bottom is the problem. I just could'nt get the dough balls out without messing up the shape. I turned the Kevjes upsidedown, then tried tapping the bottom...tried tapping somemore. That turned into slapping the bottom...then slapping somemore. I had done a spritz of olive oil in the containers before putting the dough ball inside but they still wouldn't release cleanly. Maybe I should have used more than a spritz of olive oil?? In the end, I had to use my fingers to get underneath bottom of the dough balls to release them from the container and this messed up the shape of the dough ball. I'm pretty sure this has a lot more to do with my inexperience as a pizza maker then it has to due with the Kevjes. It's just something I didn't experience with square proofing containers. I tought, this is great, one dough ball in it's own round container. What could go wrong? Just something to think about.

I bought it to solve the problem of my pizza doughs sticking together in a large bowl. The 1L version is just perfect for the sizes of my pizza dough, and avoiding the doughs to stick and degas, it helps a lot in making a perfect pizza!
