Bottom line it’s a cheap mic. You get what you pay for. This thing was decent and gave he good sound a few times before it just dies. There is no way to check if everything is working until you’re done. It’s a crap shoot but not worth it.

It's super easy to use. Never had an issue connecting with my iPhone. When recording at a distance, the sounds is way better compared to the built-in mic. Would certainly recommend for hobby recordings.

When used up closed to the phone the noise quality wasn’t very good. The range is about 25 yard. It seems like the sound quality maybe better at a distance. The wireless range easily transmits from the inside of a vehicle to the outside up to 25 yards. When used up close the quality of the sound is equal to the sound quality of using the phones equipped speaker. The audio quality is a lot better with a plug in microphone that I bought off Amazon for about 20$. I returned this item because the audio quality of my plug in microphone was significantly better. I do want to find a good quality wireless microphone that is more clear. I give this product 4 stars because the quality maybe better at a distance, but in 3 ft or less range it’s the same quality as using the phones microphone which you don’t realize how bad it is until you get a good microphone. I plan to buy another wireless microphone in the near future but need to check reviews before buying. ... show more

I wasn’t expecting a lot from this but it certainly surpassed my expectations. It’s not professional sound quality but I tested this in a kids trampoline park with the music so loud it was hurting my ears - it was astounding how much of the overhead music was eliminated. I just bought it to record TikTok videos of me reading, using my phone mic I could hear the hum of my ring light but this little mic is nice enough that I can also use it while in the car parked next to a busy 6 lane highway and you can’t hear the cars at all. My voice quality isn’t pristine but I don’t think it’s bad enough that I can’t use it. Maybe that’s just how I sound. ... show more
