- WHIMSICAL DRAGON DESIGN: This heavy duty Dragon Steamer adds a charming touch to your wood-burning stove, making it a great conversation piece. By placing it on your stovetop and filling it with water, it releases steam and water vapor through the dragon's nostrils, providing humidity for a healthy environment.
- HEAVY CAST IRON - This magical dragon weighs 14 pounds, to make sure it is stable on any flat surface you place it. Durable, long-lasting air humidifier retains heat and withstands high temperatures even if empty. It has two handles on the side to safely move or carry when cool. Also a great figurine or statuary for your medieval fantasy creature decorations.
- MOISTURIZES & HUMIDIFIES - Healthy steam puffs out the dragon's nostrils to make winter air more comfortable in a large room. No batteries, no cords, no filters, and functions silently. Perfect for use in your cabin or home to relieve dry discomfort. Also maintains appropriate air humidity for your indoor plants in a dry environment.
- LARGE CAPACITY - Top-filling pot with removable lid holds 2-3/4 quarts of water. Add potpourri or essential oils such as lavendar, eucalyptus, peppermint, citrus, and rosemary for aromatherapy or a lovely fragrance to your home.
- CARE & CLEANING - Removable lid and smooth interior allows for easy cleaning with a damp cloth. You can season your steamer just like a cast iron skillet. Wipe the entire steamer with food-grade vegetable oil that has a high smoking point. Place it in a 400 degree oven for 30-60 minutes. Cool Completely. Repeat as needed. Wash with warm soapy water and a soft-brush. Rinse and dry thoroughly before storage. Keep in a cool, dry place with the lid off. Place 2-3 paper towels inside during storage, to help absorb any moisture/humidity that may accumulate.
Description
What began as a small retail store in Madison, Virginia in 1980 has grown into a multi-channel online, catalog and retail business. We strive to inspire our customers to create spaces that are comfortable, welcoming, warm and cozy. Through the years, we've remained dedicated to our guiding principles: we treat our customers like neighbors and friends and offer quality products! An energy-efficient alternative to electric humidifiers, our long-lasting cast iron streamer is an easy, low-tech way to combat dry air, relieve allergies and asthma symptoms, and create a more comfortable, healthy living environment for people, pets and plants. Benefits of increasing the humidity in your home may include: Place this cast iron steamer on your stovetop, fill with water, and let it bring moisturizing relief as steam puffs from the dragon's nostrils. Add liquid potpourri, cinnamon sticks, cloves, or nutmeg for a pleasant fragrance and aromatherapy. The whimsical dragon design adds a charming touch to your wood burning stove in any season - it makes a great conversation piece, as well as a unique gift! This wood stove accessory also works with pellet stoves, coal stoves and corn-burning stoves. No assembly required. The durable cast iron design features a matte porcelain enamel finish inside and out to resist rust, make cleanup easy, and maintain its appearance. This large capacity steamer with removable lid holds approx. 2 1/2 qts. of water, so it won’t run dry when left on your stove overnight, and it doesn't need refilling as frequently. Durable, long-lasting steamer retains heat and withstands high temperatures even if empty
