This Pledge comes in a very large can. The top easily presses down and it has a smooth working spray. The foam is ever so light and it has good cleaning power. It holds onto the surface and doesn’t drip so you have plenty of time to work it around and really clean a surface. I have never tried this particular one. This is a multi surface Pledge. The multi surface is great for me because it’s something I can use on wood, leather, and stainless steel. It also can be used on granite, laminate, quartz, and marble. That’s really impressive as that is such a wide application for a household cleaner. I have to say that I’ve always known Pledge to work well on wood. However after using this particular one on stainless steel, I am very impressed. It cleans the surface without making it greasy. It also easily wipes away fingerprints and smudges. Another thing I really like about this particular cleaner is that it cleans without smelling like harsh chemicals. It has a lemon scent and is quite pleasant but not overpowering. The multi pack has worked well for me. I am able to put them in cabinets and around the house so they are easily accessible. Again, cleaning multiple surfaces with one product is practical and just plain helpful. I am very pleased with this Pledge product.

In late 2020, Lemon Pledge disappeared from Southern Oregon stores. Pledge Professional, available on Amazon, has proven to be acceptable. It provides the same dusting, cleaning and smooth finish to various surfaces such as countertops and furniture. The difference I have noticed is the Professional spray appears to be thicker vs. the fine aerosol emitted by the standard household version. So, my take at this point is that the results are the same, but it is a bit more difficult to use. Standard: Fine spray covers entire object followed by wiping. Professional spray several small areas followed by spreading and wiping (more elbow grease).

This is a more 'foamy' Pledge than the regular aerosol furniture polish spray. I like that it's a bit thicker, and it's easier for me to see. It's also VERY good on other surfaces! I used it on my quartz countertop and my appliances, and it did a great job. I didn't expect it to work so well, I guess because I thought it would leave some sort of furniture-appropriate residue behind. It didn't. It smells like good ol' Pledge to me, and that's great. It reminds me of the time (back in the 1960s) when my mom saw unexpected company pull in the driveway. She grabbed the can of Pledge out of the cupboard and sprayed it in the air so that the company would think she had just polished the furniture! The house was always spotless, and my mom swore by Pledge. I do, too. Bottom line: Cool upgrade to a tried-and-true product. Great value! I have been using Pledge on our wood furniture for years. It is the ONLY brand that I will buy because it smells great and works well! I was super excited to try this Multi-Surface Pledge! Instead of just being used on sealed wood, this product can also be used on sealed leather, stainless steel, granite, laminate, quartz and marble. Impressive! The cans have a pretty wide spray area. It works great for spraying directly on counter tops and appliances. For smaller surface areas, you may want to spray on a cloth first or you may risk spraying everything in the vicinity of that small surface. :) We don't have stainless steel appliances but my parents do so I tried it on theirs. While it does clean them, it leaves them a bit streakier than their regular stainless steel specific cleaner. It removes fingerprints, dog nose prints, and smudges with ease, though! It does a fantastic job on leather and wood! We have used it on our leather recliner. It was left looking shiny and smelling GREAT! Our wood pieces also had that perfect Pledge shine! The lemon scent is soooo nice! I wish I could use it as an air freshener! LOL I have always loved the fresh, lemon scent of Pledge. I'm glad they haven't changed it over the years.
