This is the 4th time I've bought this set. They break easy but that has been my own fault. Sitting on them, kids messing them up when left out etc. But great headphones for sure with great sound quality.

Purchased in January. By May, the headband failed. Exchanged for a new headset. Within a month, the replacement is showing signs of the same issues. Plastic separated at the seams where the inner suspension strap puts tension on the outer frame. Then it snapped completely on both sides. Sony support blamed normal wear and tear, not covered by warranty. Hard to accept after four months, then the same signs on the replacement. Sound quality is excellent. Comfort is good. The headset sounds premium. The frame feels flimsy. Not built to last. Connectivity is also inconsistent on PS5 Pro. The headset does not connect natively and requires the included USB-A PlayStation Link adapter. No USB-C adapter included. On PS5 Pro, that means using a rear USB-A port. My console is within 10 feet, sideways, direct line of sight. The adapter gets hot, then drops connection. Sony support blamed interference and placement. For $150, not acceptable. A first-party Sony headset should work cleanly with Sony’s own PS5 Pro. Native support would be better. A USB-C adapter should also be included, but only as a backup for older consoles or third-party products. 1/5 Build Quality 3/5 Connectivity 4/5 Comfort 5/5 Sound Quality

It worked great until they did a September update. Now my wireless headset is not wireless. I have to plug it in to use it. Bummer. It says I need to update but always get CE 102159-8 error message. I've tried everything. I've checked out youtube videos, the whole thing. If anyone can help please do. Finally figured how to update it. Works great again. I have changed my rating.

The volume is good and clear, Its really good for the price. The controls aren't the best as you have to memorise where the volume rocker and the on/off button is which is also right next to the pair button. The long term quality I will update in a couple months and see what it is. But so far its good, The battery life is amazing. I havent needed to charge it more than twice since I got it a few months ago. But I use it for like thirty minutes max so it may be a bit less depending on how often you use it and the volume you have it at. It is very comfortable to wear for long play and work sessions. I've always had problems before with wearing headsets for long periods of time since I have autism and sensory issues. But this works really well with that. It is worth the price. I use it on my phone and my pc and will be using it on my PS5 when GTA VI comes out.

I’ve been using the Pulse Elite headset with my PS5 and I’m really impressed with it so far. The sound quality is noticeably better than my old Pulse 3D, especially when it comes to clarity and picking up smaller details in games. The directional audio is great and makes it much easier to tell where footsteps, gunfire, and other sounds are coming from. It’s comfortable for longer gaming sessions, the wireless connection has been solid, and the battery life is a big improvement. Overall, it feels like a legitimate upgrade rather than just a newer version of the same headset. Definitely happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good PS5 headset.

I've been using them for several weeks. I'll start with the most important thing, namely the sound: the detail and volume are good, and the ability to tweak the frequencies is also nice, although the low frequencies are lacking. But the sound quality is pretty good. Maybe I'm just used to headphones with active noise cancellation, but I really miss that feature here, and the isolation from the outside world is pretty mediocre. Another downside is that they don't sit very securely on the head and need to be adjusted constantly because they slip down. They also don't look very durable, and it's unlikely that they will retain their good appearance for years to come. If you buy them at a discount, these headphones are worth the money, but I wouldn't recommend buying them at full price because you can find a much better alternative.

Never take the time to write reviews, but these are so bad I don’t feel right not warning others. After maybe 3-4 months of normal usage and alway placing back into case and being super careful, as others have experienced my headset started to snap on the left side from ultra cheap plastic; no way was I throwing these away at the price sold so I taped them heavily with clear tape and pressed on. Fast forward to earlier this week, after owning for less than a year, and a software update comes out for the headphones - I install it - and the headset and USB absolutely will not pair again after trying every trick possible. Terrible product, terrible price, will never buy again and hope that no one else gets burnt like I did, either.

These broke at almost exactly 3 months. I took them off like normal and one side snapped. Amazon links to the Playstation's support site for damages and repairs, but it doesn't have a section for headphones. The only accessory that PS lists in their repair section is the PS Portal. WTF PlayStation? It's a shame because these headphones are a huge upgrade over the original Pulse 3D headphones. Great sound quality and comfortable fit. The mic works really well and it's got a few convenient considerations the last headphones lacked. The original Pulse headphones were too quiet and didn't block nearly enough ambient noise. These headphones solve both of those problems. It's louder, it blocks out more noise, and the sound it produces balances the highs and lows really well. It's crisp in the mid to highs and it has a little more punch in the bass than I expected (though not super heavy). These are very comfortable headphones. The ear cups are super soft. I have a fairly big head and they apply a little bit of pressure but they're comfortable enough to wear for hours. The adjustable mic is a nice feature and it tucks away really easily. The mute button actually works with the controller mute button. If you press the mute on the headphones, the mute button on the controller activates and vice versa. That's a minor change that I've greatly appreciated. People complain about the connectivity, but I'm pretty sure that's just a PS5 thing. I've had this issue with multiple headphones with multiple wireless adapters (haven't tried wired). For some reason the USB ports just die randomly. I found that the fastest way to get reconnected was to unplug the fob for a few seconds and then plug into one of the other USB ports. All of this is for naught though. It doesn't matter if they're good if they break and don't have a spot in the PS repair section.
