The media could not be loaded. I bought this for my grandson for Christmas. The shipping box was crushed during shipping as was all the boxes in the shipping box. No fault of the manufacturer! I had to unbox and make sure the plasma ball wasn’t damaged. Happy to say the protective wrap did its job. The plasma ball works great and will be a hit on Christmas morning. There was a lightbulb included in the packaging and no mention of this in the instructions. Luckily they have a picture of it on the box. When you hold it to the plasma ball the lightbulb lights up. This is definitely a fragile gift - one drop from a table the glass ball will shatter. Not good for little ones with bare feet. My grandson is 6 and this will ONLY be used with adult supervision. The instructions say for kids over 12. I agree. For younger kids you will need to watch them closely. I took off 1 star and almost took off 2 stars because the plastic base is cheaply made and the switch is flimsy and I worry about durability. I gave it 4 stars because it is a very cool product that worked as advertised. ... show more

My son loved it when he opened it for Christmas works as it should and is pretty cool. Seems pretty sturdy. Is easy to plug in and figure out how to use. My son said it doesn't get warm unless he hold him whole hand in one spot for a pretty long time. He likes to play with it with the light bulb and his fingers and other objects to see what all he can get it to do and look like as well as use it as a lamp in his room. ... show more

I ordered 2 of these plasma balls and neither on worked! The first one kind of worked for about 1 hour then quit. The second didn’t not work right out of the box! Very disappointed in this purchase, woukd not recommend!
