Extremely Useful for Capturing Important Conversations. The PLAUD Note Pro has become an extremely useful tool in my work. I frequently have long conversations with individuals that dive deeply into a lot of details, and realistically, it can be difficult to recall everything accurately by the end of a meeting. Being able to record those conversations and then review them afterward has been incredibly helpful for making sure I capture the pertinent details I need for documentation and future follow-up. Probably my favorite feature is the AI summary. Instead of having to go back through an entire lengthy conversation, it consolidates everything into a concise, organized summary that I can quickly review. That feature alone has saved me a tremendous amount of time. The transcription accuracy has also been impressive. I've used it in several different environments—from one-on-one conversations in an office to recording a message in a large auditorium—and it has performed remarkably well in both. Battery life is excellent, and the magnetic holder that keeps the unit attached to the back of my phone is extremely convenient. I haven't used it to record phone calls yet, so I can't comment on that functionality. There are a couple of areas I think could be improved. The included 300 monthly transcription minutes aren't always enough for my needs, and I find the cost of purchasing additional minutes more than I'm willing to pay. Considering the price of the device itself, I really feel that more monthly minutes should be included. I've also had a couple of instances where I pressed the button to stop a recording and felt the double vibration indicating that it had stopped, only to discover later that it had continued recording. I'm still learning all the nuances of the device, so I can't rule out user error, but it is something I've experienced and now make a point of double-checking. Overall, though, I love the PLAUD Note Pro and find it tremendously useful. If your work involves conversations, meetings, interviews, or presentations where you need to accurately capture information for documentation or future reference, this is an excellent tool. Excellent AI Recorder — Simple, Reliable, and Very Useful

I’ve been extremely impressed with the PLAUD Note Pro. The device is thin, lightweight, and easy to keep attached to the back of my phone, but what really stands out is how simple it is to use. When I need to record a meeting or phone call, I can start recording in seconds and let PLAUD handle the rest. The phone-call recording works surprisingly well. It can clearly capture both sides of the conversation without requiring speakerphone, and the transcription and AI summaries make it much easier to go back and find important details, decisions, and action items. I also appreciate that it isn’t constantly recording. It stays ready in a low-power standby state, and I only record when I intentionally start it. Battery life has been excellent, and the display makes it easy to confirm that a recording is actually in progress. For meetings, phone calls, project discussions, and keeping track of important information, this has quickly become one of the most useful productivity tools I own. Best AI Note Taker for Networking and Business Conversations

My wife feared this was going to be another tech gadget that I would be excited about for two weeks and that would then gather dust on a shelf in what we lovingly call the "tech graveyard." But that is NOT what happened at all. I attend events where I can have dozens, sometimes hundreds, of meaningful conversations over the course of just a few days. For years, one of my biggest challenges has been remembering the details of those conversations after the event. Who did I meet? What did they tell me? What did I promise to send them? What opportunity did we discuss? What was going on in their life or business that I wanted to remember the next time we connected? The PLAUD Note Pro became an incredibly effective solution. After a conversation, I could step away, hit record, and capture everything I wanted to remember while it was still fresh. At Social Media Marketing World 2026, I recorded follow-up notes on 115 different people and later used the transcripts with ChatGPT to organize those thoughts into relationship notes. However, well before that conference, PLAUD had already become much more than a conference tool. I Started Using It for Everything I began recording short audio notes throughout my day. Thoughts. Ideas. Decisions. Moments of resistance. Emotional reactions. Things I noticed about myself. Things I wanted to remember. Eventually, this developed into a daily reflection practice where I record many short entries throughout the day, combine the recordings, transcribe them, and then use AI to help me identify patterns that might otherwise remain invisible to me. I started talking about this publicly because I thought it was valuable and I genuinely loved what the device was making possible. The device works, meaning it records everything accurately (unlike anything I’ve tried before where what was said and what was transcribed aren’t the same). Beyond that, the app is able to take a long meeting or a 10 minute stream of consciousness dump and organize it into an actionable record and plan. A lifesaver

I am in a lot of meetings throughout the day. I usually write notes and acknowledge that my mind may wonder and I will miss something. This device captures those notes in an organized fashion that I can compare with my handwritten ones. This saved me from missing an important action item that I had missed. I gave it 4 stars as it has misheard names or inserted names where one did not belong. Maybe some background noise bled in? Wish i had bought this sooner

It's rare nowadays that a product delights you (hardware and software), and on top of that, the customer service teams still care deeply about customer value and doing what's right. The mic system is truly phenomenal in being able to discern various speakers. I've used it in meetings in large conference rooms with 8-10 speakers and the device was able to discern the various voices correctly. The hardware is built nicely and high build-quality/fun to hold. Additinoally, very intuitive that the case attaches to the back of your phone, and even designed to record calls better. It's super rare today that a software, firmware, hardware, and accessories/case teams all work together so well. This product is useful for product work i do, and better yet, even inspiring on how products should feel. I had a hardware issue (partly my fault) and they didn't create any fuss in getting a replacement sent my way quickly and i was back online with a week. I hope this company never sells to private equity or whatever happens when products grow and get en-ish-ified. This product helps discipline around note-taking from online meetings (eg. granola) to in-person meetings too, so i've got a consistent log to jog my memory, allowing me to be present and creative during the meetings. ... show more

got this to capture recorded lectures so I can make notes as I listen. Not used it for that yet but the transcription seems to work well enough to serve that purpose. I have used it to read sections of books and then include my comments on it and it works well for that. I paired it with my ChatGPT and that makes it even more useable as I can then have ChatGPT write up my thoughts and reference the passage they are in regards to. The only downside is only getting 300 min a month free for transcription. I've not met that yet, but suspect it will be easy to meet when I use it for the lectures. Also using it to talk out ideas and then having ChatGPT turn it into something more concise etc. Lots of ways you can use it. It makes getting my thoughts under control easy and enjoyable. I'm pretty quick to delete things as soon as I'm done with them, so I don't know that I will hit its storage capacity. the size makes it easy to take with you and the magnetic holder means you can position it on a magsafe type holder for ease of use for more clearer recordings. ... show more
