I bought this after spending the day looking at typical beds in retail stores, most priced almost ten times this price, and with weeks-long lead times. This came overnight and was a huge surprise. I was expecting a result that was rickety, but once you tighten everything down this is actually quite sturdy. I put a big heavy King mattress on it, and walked around a bit on top to see if it shifted or moved -- it did not. Assembly was also better than expected. There are no words on the instructions, but the parts are numbered with stickers, the hardware is lettered and associated visually with each step. It is a bit tedious to set up, but it is not difficult at all, and the only tool needed is a (provided) allen wrench. Moreover, everything was drilled and tapped accurately (unlike so very many kits I have gotten from China), so it all fit properly. They even provided an extra screw in each size just in case. In terms of use, the bed platform is a bit high, but not too high (and this does provide storage underneath I guess). The headboard vertical pieces are in a good spot to keep pillows in place, but provide a lot of visibility thru (I wanted this because it goes up against a window due to space issues in a bedroom). The slats are a bit far apart for some mattresses (without separate foundation) but not awful (if memory serves about 8"). I would have liked closer slats, or wider slats - but these are not bad. Only time will tell how it holds up, but I am quite optimistic. And pleasantly surprised.

Bed frame head board is not as high as depicted but still sturdy overall. I love the metal material because it goes with almost any style.

Love the look and easy to put together. I don’t see it as long term just due to the little noise it makes. I can literally just climb into bed and it will make noise or if I just roll over it makes noises as well.

The pieces don’t line up very well the decorative pieces on top that are supposed to cover a gap don’t cover it the color is nice the style is nice just the pieces don’t line up

I ordered the bronze bed and am pleased with the color and the finish which is textured and scratch resistant. I’m not great at putting things together so I was a bit hesitant to order a bed that required assembly. However, I had no trouble putting this bed together. The instructions were clear and each piece had a sticker with a letter for easy reference to the instructions. The screws, bolts, tools, and washers came separated and labeled which made assembly easy. It took me 3 hours start to finish, but again, I’m not the greatest at putting things together, so I took my time and verified I was installing everything correctly. You do not need any tools to put this bed together. It comes with an Allen wrench and a regular wrench to tighten screws and bolts. I assembled the bed alone. If you have an extra hand that would be helpful, but not required. I’m proud of myself for putting it together on my own. I’ve been sleeping on this bed for a week and can confirm it’s sturdy. I weigh 140 pounds for reference. It’s nice and high so if you want to put storage underneath, it’s totally possible. The only thing I question is the support legs in the middle don’t touch the floor. Not sure if it’s supposed to be that way or not. They probably come close to touching when I’m in the bed.
