This is an absolutely beautiful dining set. I love the natural aesthetic this set offers, being the bottoms are a rich chocolate brown while the plate and bowl inner surfaces are a beautiful light beige tan with the darker chocolate brown details popping through randomly throughout the design in the most imperfectly perfect way. Offered in a service for four this set is quite durable and each piece has a bit of weight to it. They look great set for both casual and semi-formal tablescapes. Dinner plates are the average 10+", salad/dessert plates at the normal 8" and fairly deep bowls, good enough for serving soup, cereal, ice cream or a lovely fruit/dinner salad. I wash everything by hand regardless of how many dishes there are, however this set can be put into the dishwasher if need be. Microwave safe too!

Couldn't be happier with this set. The visual appeal is actually better in person. Sizing is appropriate and they are stout and should hold up for years to come. We haven't had any issues with food sticking or any kind of stains after use.

This is such a beautiful set of high-quality stoneware dinnerware. The ocean blue-green reactive-glaze, with no two pieces truly alike, give them that artisan pottery look and feel that we love and appreciate. And the black matte finish on the outsides of the plates and bowls add to their aesthetically pleasing design and elegance. These ceramic plates and bowls are thick enough to be sturdy and durable feeling, without being fragile and delicate. The 12-piece set is for a service of four and they look inviting and down-to-earth on our dining room table. The plates have a slight curve to them, making them idea for many meals where the food will stay contained on the plate and not slip off a flat edge. They arrived well packaged and in perfect condition, not a crack or chip on any piece. These 12-pieces are a really good value for the price with their artisan craftsmanship, quality of stoneware, and beautiful glaze.

This is an elegant set of dinnerware. It consists of four dinner plates, four salad/side plates, and four bowls. I particularly like the shape and size of the bowls. They are really nice for cereal, and of course soup. The dishes are kiln fired ceramic, and dishwasher and microwave safe. the ceramic is supposed to make them resistant to nicks. I was very impressed with the packaging. The pieces were stacked according to type, with thick cardboard between pieces, and then placed in very heavy cardboard boxes. Those again were in another heavy cardboard box which had cardboard baffles strategically placed to prevent movement. It was all very professionally done, and I am very pleased. They look good and feel very good - smooth and strong. I recommend them.

I generally avoid hyperbole in reviews as it sounds stupid. No that new spoon did Not in fact "change your life" right? But I must say that I was extremely impressed with these dishes. My clumsy kids break stuff so my dishware is a mess of random sets. Getting these thru vine seemed like a way to cheaply obtain reinforcements. But I was not expecting it to be so nice. These are very heavy duty and solid. Maybe they will let me 'try out' a few more sets? Probably not but I am strongly considering picking up a few more sets and tossing all my other junk. I can highly recommend this dishware for sure!

This dish set is really nice. I like that they’re not all exactly the same. the way these are made, each one has variations in the finish. No teo are alike and I’m a bug fan of that. It’s much more organic feeling that way. The plates and bowls themselves are thick and sturdy. At $49.99 for four place settings, these are a good value. I think I need to buy two more aets so that I have service for twelve. Five out of five stars.
