Big enough for an adult
Exactly what I wanted
Reviewed in the United States on September 12, 2026 by Amazon Customer

Good quality, but only suitable for a narrow age range.
These are good quality molded plastic bats and balls. There are no sharp edges to the plastic nor other defects, and it is thick enough to be durable without being too heavy. One thing to note though is that these are huge. You will not want to allow littler kids to play with these in the house as they would be extremely destructive easily. They should also need supervision playing with them outdoors as they could hurt another kid by clubbing them with these very large and relatively thick bats. I think they are a bit too big, even an adult doesn't need them this large. I suppose it is meant to make it easier for them to hit the ball, but there's a very narrow sweet spot of ages of kids that can be trusted to use these for training to play more grown up baseball. They're really not appropriate for toys or for more developed kids who already have enough skills. ... show more

Kids’ Baseball Playset: Fun for Outdoors with Some Safety Considerations
This playset can be fun for kids, but it’s important to set realistic expectations regarding quality. The components are made entirely of plastic, which keeps them lightweight but also limits durability. The balls, in particular, are thinner and more flexible than the bags, while the bags themselves are fairly long and accurately reflecting the size and color shown in the product photos. Although the set is labeled for children as young as 3 years old, there are some practical considerations to keep in mind. The bats included are quite long, which makes them potentially difficult for very young children to handle safely. A 3-year-old may struggle with controlling the bat, making it easy to accidentally hit objects, pets, or even other children. This product might be more suitable for kids who are a bit older or for use in a large backyard where there’s plenty of open space to swing safely. In terms of value, the set is decent but not outstanding. The longer bats are certainly helpful for reaching targets, but the overall price feels slightly higher than what I would personally expect to pay. The playset could be enhanced with additional accessories, such as lightweight baseball plates or extra balls, which would increase its versatility and playtime options without significantly raising the cost. Overall, this is a functional set that offers entertainment for kids, particularly in outdoor settings, but it’s best suited for children who can handle the equipment responsibly. For the price, it’s a reasonable option, but families should consider the space available and the age and skill level of the child to ensure safe and enjoyable play. ... show more

Great Backyard Fun, But the Price Holds It Back
This wiffle ball bat and ball set has a lot to like, though the price makes it harder to fully recommend. The set includes 6 hollow balls made from molded hard plastic with a baseball lace design. Unlike traditional wiffle balls, these do not feature oblong holes and are fully enclosed. They are lightweight, which makes them easy for younger kids to throw and handle. At the same time, the plastic is fairly firm, and while the balls hold their shape initially, they are easier to dent than expected especially with regular use. Two bats are also included, both made from the same type of molded hard plastic. The handles feature a spiral grip design, while the barrel has a faux wood grain finish. The handles are thicker in hand than standard wiffle ball bats. While this felt comfortable in my adult hands, my kids found them a bit more difficult to grip and swing effectively. That said, the barrel does provide solid pop, and it is easy to generate enough power for longer hits, which adds to the overall fun. In terms of quality, the set stands out in some ways. The plastic used for the bats feels thicker and more substantial than the classic lightweight yellow bats many people think of when they think about wiffle ball. The balls are also firmer, although that added rigidity seems to come at the cost of being more prone to permanent denting. Unlike traditional wiffle balls that dents can be popped out of, dents are permanent with these balls. The main drawback is the price. At the time of this review, the set is listed for $35, which feels high for what is included. While it has provided plenty of entertainment for my family, the overall value does not quite match the cost. At a lower price point, this would be an easy recommendation, but as it stands, it feels overpriced for 2 plastic bats and 6 plastic balls. ... show more

Fun backyard bat and ball set for the whole family
A perfect bat and ball set for the whole family, from toddlers through adults. This set came with two 32-inch lightweight, plastic, blue baseball bats and 6 plastic white balls, which are about the size of a standard baseball. The bat has some slight give to it when you squeeze the hitting portion, and the balls are very sturdy. Both the bats and balls are very strong and did not dent even when the adults in our group tried hitting the balls as hard as possible. We had someone underhand pitch the balls to all of the batters. Our 7 year old could easily swing the bat and hit the balls. Our 3 year old needed a bit of guidance, which was easy to do since the handle of the bat is long, skinny, and has the ridges for the grip. I was able to help our 3 year old hold the bat at the same time to help guide the timing of the swing. Our 3 year old was able to swing the bat easily without guidance from us; just not connect with any of the balls. This set would be great for teaching kids proper swing and bat holding techniques since it is lightweight, in addition to just having fun playing a casual game of ball. Our family all took turns hitting. The furthest we could hit the ball up into the air was about 50 feet. A group with little kids could play an actual game of baseball with this set as long as you created a non-standard size playing field. I do wish this had a lightweight storage bag or net bag, especially for the balls, which would make it convenient to transport and store. And if you live in the hot, sunny desert, like we do, then you'll want to store the items in the shade or climatized environment to keep the plastic items in better shape for longer. Overall, our family, ages 3 through adult, all had fun playing with this bat and ball set and plan on using it often. ... show more
