Originally I had a problem with one turning on and off. It turns out it was my longer power cord I used. Replacing it now they work fine. They are so bright I ruined my camera on my phone checking lux. 2 is about as bright as my cmh315. 415 lux @ 19 inches 30k lux at 0 inches = broken camera. lol opps. 3540 measured . Hardware, ratchets are plastic versions. Better than the ones you need to retie to be safe but not as nice as the metal ones. Adequate. No complaints. The mount system... Its sturdy vs gravity but the fan blows the lights around wildly because its a one point mount. I simply tied the eyelets on the inside together with LST wire (breadtie) and then tied one sides outer eyelets to the tent bars with a large loop of LST wire around the pole to allow free movement up and down but no sideways movement. This combo yields stationary light even in direct airflow. I plan to check the fans daily to prevent overheating issues. When they bind up they will need prompt replacement to prevent damage. These lights are extremely pleasing in the hands, the reflectors are white plastic not aluminized but seem to work ok . All things considered It definitely feels like a good light . I will let you know how it works in a few months. Big pros for me : more efficient hot pluggable. Blew up my cmh due to power instability and surge. 6 cobs for price of 2 of other brands. I originally gave a scathing review because my own power cable failed but im really glad patient minds prevailed and I realized the problem. If these actually produce , Im very pleased with the purchase. Both my plants were male. Culled. Cant show you nuggets yet. Working on it again. Nuggets to show ! week 3-4 second run, nuggets the size of my arm these lights are legit. ... show more

    • Super Bright, wide footprint, low fan noise, sturdy and heavy duty design
I’ve had a lot of LED purchases in the past, this one is pretty refreshing and the first I’ve owned in a COB style chip. Will say it is very bright when compared to other LED grow lights I’ve used in the past. I’ve traditionally used the typical LED grow light with 200-300 little LED lights, couldn’t believe that this one only has 3 LED lights and was 2-3x brighter than the other ones I’ve had. The long design is particularly my favorite, much better coverage verses the traditional square or rectangle ones you get with other grow lights. The fan does stay on to cool the light but it is pretty quiet, quieter than other LED lights I’ve had with the intermittent fan. After a few minutes you don’t even hear it anymore. Overall though the structure of the light is very sturdy, it’s a medium weight unit and has very thick metal heat sinks, the unit doesn’t get hot at all due to the design and fans. I grow mostly Alocasia’s which are high light loving plants… I will say I’ve noticed new growth in about 75% of my plants in only the past week. Very impressed! I also have some sundews to kill all the gnats, and I’ve noticed they’ve produced significantly more sticky dew with the new light (mean’s they’re super happy). Highly recommend! ... show more

This is a great little grow light! Very powerful for its size. I really like that it has a timer so I can set it when I leave for work and when I get back late at night it’s already off. This light gives me more space indoors for plants which is great because all of my windows are at maximum capacity and I’m addicted to plants. A couple of plants seemed to have perked up since I started using it. The base of the lamp is a clip, so you need to clip it on to a piece of furniture for it to stand up. This should be something to consider when purchasing if this matches your needs, as it might not sit on a flat surface like a floor easily. For me it’s convenient because it doesn’t take up space on my plant stand and I could see myself clipping it to the back of a ladder shelf to give more light to a shelf in a dark corner. This is great for the price, I want some more for other dark areas of my house. ... show more

Purchased this light for a 2x4 grow tent to replace an older technology blurple led light. The light was packaged well and received in great condition. The unit comes with a power cord and hangers that attach at the corners of the unit. The unit also comes with removable light reflectors that direct the light from the cob leds to a more focused point. The build quality of this light is excellent. No loose parts or exposed electronic connections just solidly built. The unit has super quiet fans that direct the heat away from the heat sink very well. When turned on the light fills the tent with a super bright full spectrum spread. The light comes from three cob leds that are super bright. It’s amazing how much more of the plants you see with a bright full spectrum light. With only a few days of running I can already see my pepper plants are going to thrive under the new light. Let me start by saying, I am very impressed with this light! This light is an excellent addition to my grow area that currently has two 3000k quantum boards. Not exactly sure, but just by eye, I would say that this 3-COB fixture is approximately 3500k, full spectrum. The light comes with removable reflector cups that can be used to direct light downward if you choose. I have chosen to keep the reflectors off, as it seems to provide more even lighting throughout my small grow area. This is an excellent supplemental light for my situation, and most importantly, it seems as though the plants LOVE the light an the spectrum that this thing puts off for my legal medicine plants. As you can see from photos, it was well packaged and appears to be well built, and also has 3 cooling fans to cool the COBs via a heat sink. I’m pretty impressed with this little light.
