So been a furniture repair guy for 30 years. People constantly ask me where should I buy my furniture. I have to tell you I know furniture probably more then most. I don't even see how this company makes any money at all selling this bed. I figured it up. My time the wood I would have at least $500 in materials not including labor. This frame should be twice the amount they sell it for. If you are looking for a great frame. Buy this one. Its solid its made well. Reading other reviews I dont and can't understand the issue. This frame you are practically stealing it when you purchase it. Its a lifetime purchase. Meaning you will pass it down or give away. It will never break or wear out unless abused or not taken care of. If I ever need another I'll definitely purchase. I have already told others and they have bought. I guarantee you will sleep tight.. because it will never break. ... show more

This is a wonderful bed frame. It took my partner about an hour to build. The wood is gorgeous. It’s very sturdy. There is no creaking or moving when my xl dog jumps on and off the bed.

Extremely cheaply made This bed is definitely not worth your money it is not sturdy my 10 year old daughter sat on it and the entire thing creeped and shift it

I’m using this bedframe with a foam mattress. The color is just as descibed. The wood feels ok. Aseemble was easy enough. It is light but supports the mattress well and has held up well after 5 months of use. I did notice that the bed was shifting more so on a day of deep cleaning I lifted up the mattress and noticed that the center screw on support legs were off kilter so I had to remove and adjust them. I noticed that the rubber feet at the bottom of the legs were also broken and cracked. That was surpising. My mattress is not that heavy and neither am I. My flooring is smooth. I got it on a sale for about $150 so cannot complain that much. It’s solid wood but the finish looks unpolished. This is not a problem because the bed cover hides the frame anyway. Although it’s solid it’s squeaking. It needs an extra support at all corners where the beams connect. Overall, it’s a good product…if you don’t want to spend $300+ for pretty much same quality, buy this one. ... show more

**UPDATE EDIT** — The legs in the middle of the bed frame are the WORST! They would bend and cause the frame to shift. My husband had to make his own legs out of wood in order for the bed to be secure and not shift. After using the bed for a little while I’m taking the score down to 2 stars. We are currently remodeling a bedroom and was in need of a new bed frame that wouldn’t look too “bulky”. (we had a black sleigh style bed and it was just too big and dark for the room) A simple platform style bed in a light grey color was our search! Let me say that it is HARD to find the two but we came across this one. First …. the color we chose was Driftwood and upon its arrival it seems more of a brown-tone than a rustic grey BUT we also need to purchase different curtains and nightstands so hopefully that will lighten the room up so I’m 50/50 on that part but it’s okay! Second …. the wood materials are definitely strong and sturdy (doesn’t seem cheap or flimsy) so happy about that! Third …. assembled very fast in less than 30 minutes; was impressed Fourth …. my biggest concern was how far apart the wooden slats are. Usually they should be less than 2.75in apart and these are not. So due to the weight of our mattress as well as us we had no choice to continue using box spring until a bunkie board arrives. The description states you don’t need one so be cautious with the type of mattress you have. Also, since we have to use a box spring the height is so tall! I have to use a stool and my poor fur baby isn’t too happy as he can’t hop on the bed until we lower it :( Hope this is helpful! ... show more

Great platform bed but after reviewing how many boards it takes to secure a mattress , they should be placed no more than 3 inches apart, i went to home depot & spent another 70 dollars for 12 more boards, if you do not get the extra boards your mattress will become uneven and not last, beautiful platform bed tho ! ... show more
