I love the bed! It seems fairly sturdy, but it is prices for what it’s made of. The look and functionality are perfect. However, have fun assembling… There are step by step instructions, but at times confusing as far as what direction things face because it’s only a picture for some.

This is a great bed, we slept in it last night and it was wonderful, it goes beautifully with the white furniture we have. However, there were a couple cracks in the wood, and assembly left a little to be desired. The assembly wasn’t quite thorough enough so I ended up having to flip around a few pieces that I put on backwards because the picture wasn’t clear. Then with the slats that go under the mattress, the picture showed you making sure it was flush, but in reality, they didn’t quite fit length wise and there were some gaps; though I still think it’s sturdy enough. Also, not every part that you needed to hand screw was pre drilled, and it was too difficult to hand screw straight into the wood, so thankfully I had my own drill so I could make some holes into the wood first. If they had just done that extra step of a few pre drilled holes, I could’ve done the entire bed by hand. It was easy enough that I (30yr/f) put the bed together solo. The cracks are on the footboard, which not only was cracked but also slight bowed. It’s the only piece that isn’t real wood, so I get it, but I wish it wasn’t there. It still all fit together, and no one will notice it, but I know it’s there. ... show more

Very happy with purchase. We were looking for a full size frame for our daughter. We purchased a different brand originally and could not get over the fumes/smell so started searching for GREENGUARD certified frames and found Plank + Beam.     • Many design mistakes
Size: Queen Color: White
Very poor design that made assembly difficult. First of all, you need a drill. It does not say this in the instructions but you have to drill pilot holes for every single slat on each side and for some brackets. Update: went down to one star. This bed is not good. It becomes very squeaky and slides all over the place if you don't have a rug underneath. It doesn't feel very stable which is likely related to the awful assembly issues as stated above. Second, the few pilot holes that were already drilled were in the wrong place. When we used the pilot holes on the footboard provided for the central metal beam, they were way too low (and yes we tried rotating the footboard so they were upside down too). We had to redrill our own pilot holes higher up to make the central beam level. Even when we made the central beam perfectly level, some of the legs were still too short (despite lengthening the adjustable part). Finally, they mislabeled the 2 long pieces connecting the head and footboard. They were labeled 10 but in the instructions were labeled 9. All of this lead to a lot of confusion. It looks nice now, but the central legs are wobbly and some don't touch the ground so I will have to create a spacer. ... show more

I bought this bed because it looked decent quality and style for the price. In person it seems to be good quality and looks nice in my room. For the final product, I'd probably give it 4 stars. But the assembly was so horrible. The instructions are confusing and it's poorly engineered so you have to fight to get pieces into place and screw things in at near impossible angles. Also it doesn't come with all the tools to put it together. It took 4 hours with two people. If you're on a budget this is a good option but it was frustrating how poorly designed the assembly was. ... show more
