This bed frame is not only mega cute, it’s pretty easy to assemble aside from the mislabeled numbers on items “09” and “10”. It should also be noted that there aren’t any pre drilled holes for the pieces that require screws to be drilled into solid wood. This was a bit of a surprise but as long as you have the right drill bits it takes maybe 1-2 hours to complete in total. It says team build (I found this only necessary when it came to putting the actual frame together (the last half of instructions) and it came together quickly. ASSEMBLY ADVICE: Get a bottle of wood glue (4oz is plenty) and use it during assembly for the head and footboard assembly (both ends). Using it on the headend slats means that they don't clack around or make a noise as they are otherwise loose in their slots. Using it on every other joint & groove where you find 'bare wood' just makes it all extra sturdy. Don't use too much glue otherwise it will ooze out or drip, but you can wipe it off. Some people have said they found it didn't quite go together right or they had to modify but mine was perfect. This goes together really easily but do follow the instructions. I bought several so the first one took longer - the main thing is to ensure that everything goes the right way up and the right way round as several parts could go either way and you don't want to take it apart and flip it once you realise - and you can't if you've glued!. In particular, ensure that the central support bar is horizontal and right under the base slats. If it's at an angle, you've got the footboard piece upside down. Note: This appears to be the same as another product under a different brand. I'd bought that one previously but it was out of stock so I bought this one instead and all parts seems to be identical. Original package came damaged and footboard was super dented and scraped. Amazon sent a second bed package, we took out replacement footboard, swapped with damaged and then Amazon sent someone to pick up second bed package (took about two weeks). Bed feel sturdy, love the pecan color, we got a 10inch mattress and we can still see headboard (don’t recommend anything thicker). The rails on headboard rattle a bit but it’s not a big deal to us. There was an additional damaged piece that we didn’t notice until after we built it— wasn’t a huge deal to us but annoying that there was two damaged pieces (see photo). Building wasn’t too bad, but there were pieces that were not pre drilled so you’ll need a drill. ... show more

I recently purchased this bed and couldn’t be more pleased with the quality and design. From unboxing to final assembly, the experience was straightforward and well thought-out. The product arrived in a single cardboard box, and each component was individually wrapped and clearly labeled. The packaging was done with care—everything was neatly arranged, making it easy to identify each piece and understand the assembly process. Assembly took about an hour. I used a power drill with Allen wrench heads and set the torque to a medium setting, which worked perfectly to secure all bolts without any stripping or damage. The instructions were easy to follow, and all necessary parts were included, with even a couple of extra screws just in case. The most impressive aspect of this bed is its sturdiness. It’s made entirely of wood—no particleboard or flimsy materials and feels solid and secure once fully assembled. It doesn’t creak or shift.. I would absolutely recommend this bed to anyone looking for a high-quality, durable wooden frame. It’s well worth the investment, and I’m confident it will last for years to come. ... show more

FINAL UPDATE. 5 months in and the bed is broken beyond repair. I even bought better legs to support the middle. This thing was JUNK! Not real wood. Poor quality. Update: as stated below, we’ve got 450lbs on this bed. The weight limit is listed as 1,000lbs. No way in hell this would hold 1000lbs. We anticipate falling though it any day now and are very careful getting on and off! There are 3 legs for additional support that run down the middle. 2 months in and they are all leaning terribly and won’t stay upright after several adjustments! This causes the middle to sag, and we roll to the middle of the bed. Very uncomfortable. Also, the slats are too far apart so the mattress bulges between them (on the underside). Do not buy this. Repeat: do not buy! Double check measurements. The headboard is a little on the short side. I have a 14 inch hybrid mattress and once you add pillows, the headboard is not visible. Wish it was. Other than that, decent bed for the price. No squeaks. Seems sturdy. We’ve got about 450lbs on it including the dogs. I don’t expect it will last more than 5 years - but for the price that seems reasonable. ... show more

The bed looks nice in my room and was relatively simple to assemble, but the center bar and legs are so flimsy and cheap they broke within the first month of owning it my advice to anyone looking to buy this bed is to buy or make additional support or your need will break and your mattress will sag.
