The surfaces of my wood turnings are so much better when I use this product. I have tried other friction polishes even the stuff I have made myself and nothing has worked as well as this item.

    • Very Shiny finish!
This polish is best used in conjunction with a high grit polish first (At least 600 Grit - preferably more.) Coupled with EEE Shellawax final polish, it produces a high clear shine - that is what I was looking for in my turnings - now I've found it!

    • Costly compared to home mixed, but convenience may make it worth the difference.
This product has given me excellent results on lathe turnings. However, I get equal results from the popular three part home mixed finish at a much lower cost. The amount of money saved by mixing one's own is a large percentage, but not a lot of dollars. For many people it may not be worth the savings to have to buy the three components and mix them. You would have to buy the three components in volumes that would make the initial purchase price about the same either way, although that would give you much more finish. But you might not want to have that great a volume of finish. I can't say exactly what the shelf life of the products would be, but it could be a consideration. I'd give this product five stars for results and ease of use and my four star rating is only because of the cost compared to home mixed. ... show more

    • Really good friction polish
This is a high quality friction polish for wood turning projects. It is a bit pricey but tends to go a long way if you use it as directed. More is not necessarily better. Used appropriately, you get a really nice finish that holds up well over time.
