Didn't read the reviews before purchasing... oops but no this is not a true white. It's is a pearlescent/semi translucent white color. Actually works better for what I'm using it for but if you are needing a true white skip this one. But I have no issues printing it in my Anycubic S1. Printing a lamp shape with it and I like how it looks better with this pearlescent color anyway, so I am happy! But just beware.

Edit: adding another photo to emphasize THIS IS NOT WHITE. I thought I would just use this roll on throwaway prints but now in a pinch when I need white, I have instead lost money on this see-through filament. this is not opaque white, it's very see-through even when using a lot of layers. unfortunately I bought this for a coloring project so my prints are thin to begin with. I can see why some people like the color if they don't specifically need white filament, but this is not a good choice if you need white.

the filament works fine, my biggest complaint is that it is more of a brown satin - low sheen but still not as matte. I printed an articulated hamster for my son (he lost a brown syrian) and he said why does it look shiny? On the spool doesn't shine as much but after printing I see what he means. One the positive, the FlashForge AD5 was good with it. Print was good, clean - adhered to the IPE textured plate.
