Used once so far together with my pizza peel. Good fit for the Chefman Electric Pizza Oven. Easy to assemble with screws well lined up. There are a few sharp corners that can easily be burred off with sand paper. Nice handle extension with good balance. Learned to warm up the paddle first before using to avoid sticking with the underside of pizza.

So I'm trying to get into making my own pizzas at home; and not because some of the pizza shop pizzas aren't good - some are good, but some are also really awful. But over the past several years pizzas have become crazy expensive. But, making your own pizzas requires a little planning and some equipment. One of the must haves is a good pizza peel. Now I have three of them! And, as silly as it may sound, this one may be my favorite. You can't really launch a pizza from this peel ... I do think raw dough would get stuck, but it does make turning the pizzas, which is really important and hard to do if you are using a pizza oven, much easier. When I opened the box I did think it felt a bit flimsy compared to my bamboo peel (or even my large, flat metal peel), but it actually bolted together quite well and it feels nice and solid ... just not real heavy duty. That said, it does exactly what it is supposed to do and I find I use it more than I thought I would. Really, you can't go wrong for the price (it was less than $20)!

Received the turner right before Christmas and used it once. It worked perfected and as advertised. The size of the turner was perfect for my Ooni 12 Karu and I will continue to use it. The quality and weight of the turner is good as well.

Easy to rotate pizzas in ooni

I have the Solo Stove pizza oven and the peel that is included isn't very useful for turning the pizza, you can do it but it's frustrating. Now I use that peel to put the pizza in and I use this small peel to spin it around when it's time to turn it. So much easier. This 8" peel is lightweight but sturdy. Wash up was simple and it's ready to go again. I would recommend this for anyone needing a smaller peel for the pizza oven.
