Yeah this one is a bit here and there for me. I had one that quit working after 5 years and was unable to really source parts that i could find. so I bought this guy which is a newer version. I use it in my kitchen and built a stand for it. Its used every week, was using the old one everyday for several years and it held up well but they have hot spots its not an even heat, you just have to learn where they are.     • Great product but packaging was insufficient to prevent damage.

To start, the shipping box arrived basically destroyed and some hinges on the griddle were bent. The unit is HEAVY and as I was bringing it in from the porch, the parts basically all started sliding out of box. Was lucky to avoid damage to my flooring as the parts are metal with some sharp corners. The assembly was straight forward and no parts were missing which was a concern given the stat of the box on arrival. The only issue is the weight, I am large human and not everyone will be able to lift some of the parts and it would be smart to get some help (I am as dumb as I am large so I did it solo). A few of the hinges were pretty beat up when it arrived and required being bent back into shape which was easy enough with a pair of vice grips. I have used it about a dozen times and if I were just reviewing the cooking part of the experience I would give it a solid 5-stars. The surface is plenty hot and big enough to actually accomplish different temp zones. I am really enjoying using it. I wish I didn't have to clean up and I am still getting the hang of it. I wish the grease/scrap hole was slightly larger. Not because grease or scraps don't fit. but because I would kinda like to scrape off the spatulas on the lip of the hole. Griddle looks great. Box was destroyed therefore parts are missing. We did not receive knobs or the tray to catch debris from the top of the griddle. It’s just an expensive deck ornament at this point.
