Nice product. It floats and connects to side of pool with sturdy clips. Included is a tool to allow the rope to be shortened. The video instruction here on Amazon on how to shorten the rope is very helpful!

Purchased to replace original, seems more rugged that the original. Orders 18 foot, came a bit longer but comes with tool to adjust. Easy to adjust. Looking forward to many years of use.

Though the product is good, the role is too long for an 19 foot width pool. I had to tie an knot to shorten the rope. This unsightly know completely destroys the feng shi of my pool area.

I am very happy with this pool safety rope. The floats themselves are hard plastic and stay afloat pretty well. I had to shorten the rope by about 18" for my pool which was easy and simple to do. I suspect this rope will hold up for a few years (before sun damage or chlorine wear) and needing to be replaced. I feel much better having a way to rope off the deep end of the pool for the little ones - glad I purchased. ... show more
