  • Lifesaver for houseplants
Size: 8 ounces
This product worked great for treating pests on my houseplants. It was easy to apply and helped get rid of fungus gnats and other unwanted bugs. I noticed a big improvement within a few weeks, and my plants are much healthier now. A must-have for plant lovers dealing with pest problems! 🌿🪴⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • BUY THIS! It works- had a gnat infestation
Size: 8 ounces
I worked at a plant store, I quit because the woman talked about me accidentally to me on a group text. Meanwhile she is praising me alone. Well she has terrariums and all of her plants got infested, I bought two plants before quitting and gota huge infestation of gnats. This stuff is the bees knees. Instantly gone. I seen a few stragglers a few weeks later, did another dose and boom gone. Workers great, mixable if you want, no scent really, safe for all my plants and durable. BUT half the bottle is empty. But well worth the price because it worked like a million bucks! ... show more

  • Not safe for edibles or aloe house plants.
Size: 8 ounces
This can not be used on herbs or other edibles. Read directions carefully. I did not read all the information posted with this product. I still need an indoor, safe for herbs and aloe products to kill my little flyers. I also bought the ones that are sticky on both sides that you stick in the soil. Catching a few pests, but not as many as I thought. Must be weak because I have caught many in a little electric trap with a sticky bottom, but this wasn't catching all of them, so I ordered this to discover it's too dangerous to use in my kitchen/house. I made a homemade bug killer that works some, but again, not enough. ... show more

  • It works
Size: 8 ounces
This item is great! First time I used it I didn't even lose one house plant. The last product I lost 5 out of 7 plants. It did the job and got rid of the gnats. BUT remember one thing it doesn't kill eggs or adults, only grubs. So it will take some time before you see the gnats go away. Trust me..they will. I keep this item on hand at all times. Use it on new plants as well as regularly on my established plants. ... show more

  • Update: Product did work - not completly - and may be harmful to bees
Size: 8 ounces
UPDATE 2017-05-08 I got rid of all my houseplants, mainly because of the fungus gnats. Also because I'm trying to simplify my life. This Bonide product did work to greatly reduce the gnats in our home. However we never completely got rid of them. I am concerned about this product because the active ingredient is imidacloprid, which is strongly suspected of being harmful to bees. If I overwintered certain flowering plants indoors, like begonias, and used this product on the soil, then put the plants outdoors, perhaps the flowers could hurt bees. The product is systemic, so even though you apply it to the soil, it goes into the plant's stem, leaves, and flowers. So I lowered my rating to 3 stars. UPDATE 2016-01-10 It's been about a week since I finished treating all our houseplants. We're seeing a BIG improvement!!! YAY!! We've only seen about two flies in six days. Before, we'd see many flies each day, some flying in our faces, some attracted to what we're eating, or hovering around our computer screen. I think the Bonide product is the main thing that helped - I hope it's not premature to say - solve the problem! 2016-01-03 So far I like it a lot. I've been treating our houseplants because we have a fungus gnat problem. I like that the product is easy to handle. The consistency is like pepper. First I loosen the soil of the houseplant with a very small rake or craft stick. Then I insert a plastic, long iced-tea spoon, dedicated for this purpose (NOT to be used later for iced tea) into the slot at the top of the Bonide product. I take spoonsful of the product and sprinkle it on the soil of the house plant. The product stays in the spoon until I sprinkle it on the soil. Next I use a craft stick to work the product into the soil. Then, I water the plant. I'm being very careful with this since it is an insecticide. I didn't want to use an insecticide, but I've tried the less aggressive ways to fight these pests and we still have them. Here are a couple of other tips for fighting fungus gnats, which I think do help: You can get Hafer yellow sticky squares on Amazon; you can cut these in half lengthwise and stick them on craft sticks. Then you can stick the craft sticks into the plant soil. Also, be sure your houseplants have good drainage. (I don't use moisture control potting soil any more. It's important to LET THE SOIL DRY between waterings; moisture control potting soil is made to retain moisture which is NOT GOOD. I mix perlite in my NON-moisture controlled potting soil for better drainage.) The reason to let the soil dry between waterings is that the gnats reproduce in moist soil and they die or go into suspended animation if the soil becomes dry. In fact the gnats spend most of their lives - about two weeks plus 5 days as larvae and pupae - in the soil; they are in the adult stage flying around for only about 5 days. During which time they lay 300 eggs in the plant soil, and the process begins all over again. There is a lot of information on the internet about fungus gnats. I plan to write an update about a week after I finish treating the plants. Hopefully this will do the trick! ... show more

  • THIS STUFF WORKS!!!!
Size: 8 ounces
I wanted to give this product a chance to work before posting a review and here it goes. I love plants and since repotting several of them at work, my office became unbearable because fungi gnats were a constant nuisance where they bothered and swarmed everything and everyone who came within a 10 ft radius of my office. I tried everything such as a peroxide solution, sand and sticky traps but those worked for a short while then the gnats were back. I even bought a bug light and that worked but it was an endless cycle of insanity so I gave this product a try. I brought this stuff with me to work on a Tuesday, sprinkled it on the soil, watered each plant thoroughly and it’s now Thursday and not one single gnat has bothered me. I still have the sticky traps for any that may wander in from other offices but this stuff is fantastic! There’s no scent so it’s office safe, very effective in that it seemingly worked overnight to solve my problem, didn’t require mixing and coned in a handy bottle that allows you to either shake or pour the granules. I used disposable gloves when handling it because I’m paranoid but that’s a small thing compared to the peace of being able to enjoy my plants in peace. I’m keeping a bottle of this stuff in my desk drawer and will spread the word around the office. THIS STUFF REALLY WORKS! The pictures show how horrible the problem was before application. Now there aren’t any gnats! ... show more

This stuff is amazing. It’s probably one of the only ways you can get rid of some pests. It works beautifully.
