Not as good as I was expecting! I have a Beretta APX compact, and while it does fit in the safe box I have to push down on the lid very hard to be able to work the latch (lock the safe box because the foam padding on the bottom of the inside is that close to the foam padding on the lid (I know that it needs to be a little close to keep the gun from rattling around, but you shouldn't have to compress it as hard as you must). Definitely a two handed deal! Also the cable for attaching it to something needs to have a second knob on the end (that gos inside the box that would keep it from be able to be pushed inside of the box to far (possibly scratching or otherwise damaging the firearm)! Other than those 2 things I like the safe box. It has room for the firearm with the magazine installed and 1 spare magazine. Not so sure that it will stop a theft, but It should keep kids from thinking it is play thing, and that is the main thing I wanted.

Sorry to write a bad review. This could have been a mistake by the person who packaged the key but it did not work to open. Possibly the wrong key was put in my box. Not sure. Quality was ok not great. Price was good. Had to return it because the key didn’t work.
