UPDATE: I have been so very pleased with this car seat for Bella ~ it has been such a relief that she is secure and I like the small attachment to hook to her coat that keeps her in the seat..... just happy I finally got her one where she is high enough off the seat where she can see out and not be bored on the drive, because she can see everything I see ~ and all the attachments you need are provided to keep the seat secure ~ you won't go wrong in getting this! The instructions were very easy to follow and I am so glad she has a seat where she can see outside when traveling and no longer in my arms as I knew it was only a mater of time I would be stopped because of the danger she imposed to me being able to handle any problems while on the road.... I put a blanket it it as well since it is in the 20 Degree Temperature outside just for added comfort to her... I'll add a picture soon of her in it.... but stays very secure with all the straps to hold it in place... She weighs 5 lbs 5 ozs, so a little one!

The doggy booster seat arrived today. It was very easy to install. My dogs love it. I bought the seat for two dogs. I have a 10 lb dog and a 4 lb dog. There’s more than enough room for them. I could easily put a third dog inside. The seatbelts are fantastic as I can adjust them to the length I want. I made them just long enough for them to stand up on the side of the seat. But not on the car door. The seat seems very sturdy and has a very soft fleece lining. I highly recommend this seat and my dogs give it two paws up!!

Raven is 4# and this is just the right size. Sturdy and quick installation. Nifty removable and washable liner. I put a fleece blanket and toys in there and she has room to lay down and because it's height adjustable she can finally see out the window!

I got this booster seat for my cat since it will enable him to actually see out of the car. It seemed secure, sturdy, and comfortable, and most importantly it said it was OK to install in the back seat. So all these things are true, and I am very glad that I got this booster seat, even if my cat still hates car time and will meow for the entire drive. What has inspired me to write this review, however, is how challenging installing this seat in the BACK is for SEDANS. The good news is that because of this, I learned that it actually is possible to lower my back seats and how to do so. The bad part is, I had to clear out my entire trunk (which is usually very full bc I have a lot of anxiety and like to carry my entire home with me) and then lower the correct seat side so I could snap the appropriate strap behind it. It was a physically challenging process and I may have sustained a slight injury in doing so. I thought it was just me and my ignorance (of my car and cars in general) that made it so difficult. But I recommended this car seat to my friend for her dog, and she and her husband recently bought and installed it. In his sedan. And they too had problems putting the entire thing together and installing it properly. And they are really smart so this is not a matter of intelligence. Now this does not take away from how great the booster seat is and how much their dog already enjoys it (although they do need to put an extra cushion at the bottom because she's so small). But I do feel like this is something that sedan owners should be aware of and prepared for. So this product gets 5 stars all around EXCEPT for "easy to install" where it gets 3 stars instead (bc I know not everyone is installing this in their sedan back seat).

Ridiculous! My Yorkie isn't commenting whether he likes this car seat or not, but he refuses to stay in it. Bear in mind, that Yorkies can be hyper and my rescue boy definitely is. The item is very well made of fabric that could probably be used as luggage material; at the very least, a very sturdy tote. It comes with a nice faux sheepskin lining pad, a collapsible dog bowl and a roll of doggy pooh bags that likely can't be refilled because I can't get a pooh bag out of it. Number one safety precaution: there is a mini leash attached to the seat on one side that seems like a great idea because it can be clipped to the animal's collar as an added restraint. The first time I used it I noted out of my peripheral vision that the dog had climbed out of the seat and was hanging from the strap while attached to his collar. He was potentially choking. That just about caused me to lose control of the car! I would suggest never to use it to attach to a collar, perhaps to a harness where the animal could not hang itself. I certainly would never leave any animal alone in a car attached to this seat in any way. In retrospect, I would put a dog or cat or ? in the seat as a trial to allow for an introduction before putting the car in motion. While the instructions were unnecessarily complicated, the picture was really all I needed to install it. However, using it in the passenger seat, it is a bit of a pain to remove, sort of like taking a baby car seat out or reinstalling it. I would not suggest using the booster seat in the back car seat, as would seem preferable, because it could be a distraction for the driver to be constantly checking if your passenger animal is trying to crawl out of the seat and try to join you in the front as mine did. Perhaps, if you have a very laid back animal that hops in and goes to sleep in a car, the back seat would be more convenient and might not require installing and uninstalling it. Initially, I was thrilled with the booster seat but have now taken in out and use it to store my dog's traveling gear. Too $$ for that! Great idea for a well made product, but pretty much a no go for my 8 pound boy!
